Only thing not figured out in the west is whether Williston or Bottineau is in the play in game vs. Hazen. Jamestown or Dickinson will be 4th or 5th seed, so they'll play regardless.

Red River wins 7-1 over WF Devils Lake beats North 8-0 Davies over GPR 7-3 I believe that win gives DL home ice in first round of EDC on Tuesday. I wish the WDA did their tournament like that too.

Bismarck leading Jamestown 4-0 Davies up on GPR 4-0 Question for Bismarck hockey followers. Is there a plan for legacy to have a high school hockey team soon? Or is that a wait and see thing?

I have a soft spot in my heart for Western hockey as well, but now it's turned into an unwinnable battle for Hazen. I'd rather see them play high school than Junior gold, but having 9 healthy bodies, your best players leaving, and scoring one varsity goal isn't good for anyone involved.

Hazen has only scored one goal this year against a varsity team. All other goals scored against JV teams. They did score it on Bismarck High though......

Williston is going to hurt for a few years. The one bantam team plays a B1 schedule, but would get absolutely murdered by an A team from Minot or Bismarck. Pee Wee group has two teams, with an A team playing an A schedule. I'm betting within three years Hazen is playing junior gold. I'm sure you've got politics galore after 24-1 happened....

Way way way too easy who makes the state tournament prediction: East locks: Central, RR, Devils lake, Davies West almost all locks: Bismarck, Minot, Century, Dickinson Other teams with a shot: Jamestown, South/Stanley. That's it, no other teams with a prayer sadly.

I didn't want to believe it was over until after Walsh skated off the ice. Gornall could have gotten unsportsmanlike conduct for that game winner, and let's not put it outside the realm of Walsh to call that penalty.

Tim Walsh hates UND. He is a terrible official. You can't honestly be that terrible. I thought Stecher was going to cross check the guy last year at the NCHC tournament.
