They definitely need to switch up the scheduling. Like you said 19 times against the Detroits and the KCs......yuck. I'd be for every team playing all the NL and AL teams at least one series a year.

Funny thing is that the Twins have a good, but not great record against the AL Central with how poor those bottom three teams are. Look at Houston's record against the AL Central. Completely agree it's a weak division, but they've played their division much better for whatever reason.

Five and a half games up.....magic number is now 21. Lots of reasons to be optimistic in Minnesota. Getting some guys back and expanded roster is huge. Having Austidillo means you can DH Garver to keep his bat in the lineup. Having extra arms around for our patented 5 inning starts.......nice.

I like the creativity in some of these plays. Motion a guy and fake the jet sweep and throw the tunnel route where he motioned the guy from. Not much points to show for it, but the play book has a few more pages it seems.

I'll respectfully disagree about him not taking that big athletic SDSU QB for either of his. Lot of like or hate for Fleck. I like the culture that he brings with holding kids accountable and wanting them to leave as better people in the long run. Twins bullpen got 12 outs, 8 of them via the strikeout. Four innings, two hits, one run, no walks. I realize its against Detroit, but what once was the team's biggest weakness is now solidified. Gibby one of three pitchers in Twins history to get back to back wins giving up ten plus hits in each game.

They are so effective right now. I mean this one is over, but in close games it's almost good night if we can get it to the 6th with a lead.

Gibby throws Hicks exactly the same pitch twice in a row, three times in the at bat.....Hicks fouls it off twice, then the third time he hits it off the foul pole..... Fastball up and away.....three times....he didn't miss the first two, why not bury a breaking ball and change his eye level a bit??? Gibby.....
