  1. Welp, now its 9-7 because Berrios is all over the place. Not sure why Rosario is playing so deep with a strong wind blowing in and a lefty up, but Berrios didn't help matters by walking people and leaving the ball up.
  2. Graterol is a dude. Tremendous arm....tremendous. Will be 21 in a week or so and has all the makings of a shut down closer if he stays away from arm issues. If he stays consistently sharp he needs to be on the big club soon.
  3. Cave has got to get the runners over and instead looks at strike three. Two nights removed from getting Kepler drilled because he missed a sign. When does Buxton come back?
  4. And because Cave missed the cut man, Choo doesn't hit into a double play and the inning continues, and now Danny Santana is the second coming of David Ortiz.
  5. Sloppy in the field.....what on earth is Cave doing? And Berrios leaving the ball up. Twins up 8-3 in the 2nd, but goodness do they not look good in the field at times.
  6. Yankees doing their part against the Indians. Twins now need to take care of business with Berrios on the mound going against a guy with a high ERA. Get the lead up to 2 1/2.

    2019 Season

I'm in the 7-4 boat. I think they surprise one of the teams they aren't supposed to beat and then have an ISU or Montana State loss. Although, I'd take 1-10 if they beat NDSU in Fargo.
  8. Maybe a few notes to take defensively for Rocco. When they are in over shift mode for left handed hitters they can't have Sano be the only guy on the left side of the infield in the shortstop spot. Keep the regular shortstop there and put him wherever between first and second. And Adrianza is now your 8th inning and later short stop or third baseman for defensive purposes when they have the lead.
  9. Big win for the club. Beating Minor on the road isn't easy.
  10. Isn't this fun? Twins should think about Adrianza for defensive purposes late in games for Polanco.
  11. Good guys up 4-3 going to the ninth. Will Rodgers pitch the 9th????
  12. Alright.....Cleveland loses. Rocco has got to do whatever possible to win this game. Get through the 6th here Ode, and then Duffy, Romo, Rodgers. And......we fall behind......gotta get the bats going.
  13. Good start by Pineda tonight coming off the injury. Got the team off the field and back in the dugout when they were piling it on early. Smeltzer saves the bullpen by going four, and the Rangers show the world how not to run the bases.
  14. Polanco really set the table for this late loss. Romo has been good, but was due to blow one eventually.
  15. 6 hits and 2 walks in three innings. Yup, same old Gibby.
  16. Theme from last night....Rocco bailed out again...... In hold situations past the 7th inning the order of operations should be: Duffy, Dyson, Romo, Rodgers. And insert May as a last resort. It's also a great time for them to figure out their left handed specialist. Is it Thorpe? Is it Smeltzer? No way should Harper be pitching to a lefty in the 7th with a two run lead and the tying runs on.
  17. I've said the same thing about the number of times he's been bailed out.
  18. And now let's use Duffy......this is a joke.....an absolute joke.
  19. Another terrible decision by our manager......terrible.....what kind of baseball sense has he shown the past few weeks?
  20. Twelve in a row with Detroit and Chicago......Twelve.....
  21. Rocco didn't want to use Cave and then lose him when you put Adrianza at first if it goes extras for Cron. He has done it before. If you win the game there is no reason to worry about moves in the 10th.
  22. Terrible decision.....cost them the game.
  23. Great start by Ode last night. Pitching with guys on all night and was tremendous in not letting the dam break. Also wanted to mention Arraez. His triple was all knowing the scouting report on Puig being a block head with hitting the cut in the outfield and knowing he would try to throw it all the way to third. Twins have their second baseman for years to come.
  24. I think in the future a guy like Smeltzer is a lefty specialist. Good location guy at times, but the second or third time through the hits are gonna pile up. Win one of these last two to try and save some ground. Kluber comes back soon too.....
