The NCAA is getting stupider by the minute. Seriously! It hurts female athletes more by not letting them practice with males thus gaining better skills because they are matched against higher skill levels. Please no one tell the NCAA that I plan on letting my daughter play hockey with the boys as long as she can so that she can obtain better skills, such as the ones that you learn when you check.....

I believe I complained when Team USA first sported these unies.......and I still feel the same way about them. YUCK! Don't keep them! *looks at them again* YUCK!!! LOOK AT WHAT HAS BECOME OF MAINE'S JERSEY!!! *spits* Hopefully this is just a stunt by Nike to push these and nothing more.

Oh, I almost forgot......we got the beverage bucket and some popcorn like these:

The kiddies each got a Eat Sleep Sioux Hockey t-shirt. Son got a Commodore bobblehead and a Sioux Zamboni, I got a new hoody and a pink baseball hat, and we all got Sioux comforters for our beds. It was a slow year this year.....

So UND should quit now and tell the NCAA that they were right in calling, not only our state, but our University hostile and abusive? Maybe the all of the athletic teams should just give up now and forget about the rest of their seasons. AND maybe since we're all going to die someday, we should just stop eating, because seriously-why?! Quitting isn't the answer. Maybe the United States should have given up when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor-or better yet maybe the United States should have just caved when Osama Bin Laden decided to attack our country.

And, you have every right to.,....in fact, I expect nothing less. I'm not the kind of person that dishes it out and can't take it. It's fun to dish AND take. People who can dish it out and then get mad when you give it back to them aren't a lot of fun.

UND had everything to do with the Holy Cross game. The players said that they felt as though every fan in the place was rooting for them, and that they had played a home game- only with more people in the stands than they are used to. If we had nothing to do with it, why would the players, announcers, and Holy Cross Alumni and fans have come to these boards to personally thank us for the atmosphere and support that they got not only at the REA, but also in Grand Forks.

I really think that the whole Holy Cross thing has turned into a Sioux thing. My friend was wearing my bright purple Holy Cross practice jersey at WE Fest and everywhere we went, people were yelling, "Go Sioux" at us. Were we wearing anything that said UND? No. Rolling down my window and yelling "Go Holy Cross" at a group of Gopher crap wearing fans yelling, "WWWWWWWWOOOOOOO Colorado College" after they beat us on Friday (they ran between my car and the car in front of me waiting to get out of the parking lot) shut them all up right quick. I think that the same can be said for every team and their rivals. You'll always get crap from losing a big one. And that sir, Minnesota did. Do you think that NDSU would let it go if they had made that field goal and beaten the Gophers? No way in he-double hockey sticks.

Well, then, little HockeyMom punched him in the face and took his lunch money.....so now he is the savior of all the little people and telling them what their opinion is.

If you just give something up because someone says- that's the way that it is so you should just give up, even though it may not be fair. Why on earth would you just give up? That's like telling someone with cancer that they are going to die from it so they might as well just stop living. I just don't buy it. Giving up now is not an option. If the U.S. Supreme Court upholds a decision favoring the NCAA, then it is time to look for another nickname and logo, or choose not to have one...... You know dang well Myles Brand used to be the kid that bullied other kids in school, and took their lunch money. There are sometimes when you need to stand up and say- this isn't right and you can't do this to me, and UND standing up to the NCAA is one of those times. Fight the fight worth fighting.
