Okay, if I asked that question to make you react defensively, I didn't mean to. I didn't accuse you of anything, just stated what I thought had changed with the law and the internet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it a law now that if you post on a internet message board, you're true identity can be told to anyone that inquires about it. I thought I read something about it, or heard about it not so long ago- two guys were joking on the radio that if someone insults you on a message board, you have the right to find out who it is. I could be mistaken.

I believe that the old saying- the grass isn't always greener on the other side fits in pretty well.

I was responding to you talking about being threatened. I've seen threats made to people by the anti-nickname crowd to people that have chosen to vocally support the name. That person sounds like a moron. Not everyone is like that. If you are socializing with this person, I suggest that you stop.

Why don't we all just drop the arguments? Neither side is going to give in, and neither side is going to convince the other side of why they should be on the opposite side. This has all become rather tiresome. There are those of us that are for the Fighting Sioux nickname that are afraid of being verbally abused, as well as people that fear they are in physical danger for being an outspoken supporter of the name..... It goes both ways.

Um, nope. But I did stand there quite a while with the 10 year old pointing out and admiring the names of the players listed on the sticks. That my friends, would be a very nice conversation piece!

President Kupchella addressed that issue in the letter that he wrote to Dartmouth's president. Personally, I wouldn't put it past the Dartmouth people- they seem like a A-1 class act already.

I thought that the bench made out of former players' sticks outside of the players' lounge was one of the neatest things in there.

lol- today the avatar yelled, "FINALLY IT'S IN ONE BIG PIECE INSTEAD OF A BUNCH OF LITTLE PIECES!" in Sam's Club. Fortunately for us it was only coming out one end.
