I'm only sunburned on the top of my back where the avatar used old sunscreen......the rest of me got the new stuff and didn't burn. She was even so nice that she reapplied it for me a couple hours after the first coating. Cooking oil probably would have worked better. The old stuff went in the trash so it doesn't happen again.

Mr. HockeyMom was surprized too....and glad the little guy caught it.

I haven't fished Ashtabullhead since I was a kid. I think I had different sunscreen on my back than I did on the rest of me, because that's the only place I burned. We were just fishing for fun and spending some quality time as a family.

Not McVille, about 30 miles SE of there though. We prolly should have gotten a speeding ticket riving through McVille tonight on the way home from Devils Lake. I'm a nice shade of crisy right now, and I reapplied sunscreen all day.

Honestly, why does it bother you so much that you have to keep posting the same thing? To me, that's worse than posting meaningless twaddle. Didn't the softball team kind of do an exploratory year this year? I heard that one of the players would have made a great addition to the women's hockey team and was told that because she was given a softball scholarship she needed to concentrate on softball.

Talking about this story tonight at my kid's t-ball game, we brought up the private schools. I was asked to attend a private school for my senior year and offered room and board......if you think it isn't happening, you're wrong. I guess as a former Langdon volleyball player, it makes me mad that it happened at all.....and I take exception to it. I'm not taking anything away from what happened, shame on the coaches for doing it. You hurt your team and you ripped off your senior girls who may have had a chance at hanging another banner from the rafters. I would be mad if I was from Cando and found out another town was wooing my players.....good for them if they turned them in.

I think that the real question is how long will it take to reverse the damage that has been done to Langdon's program? Seriously, you win a championship in 2 or 3 years and what are people going to think? You recruited players or cheated, even though you haven't.
