It's too bad that UND has to go through the rest of the appeals process in order to "exhaust" all of their appeal options, and they can't just file a lawsuit.

Wait a minute? Is the NCAA punishing UND because the Spirit Lake Tribe didn't answer them and clarify the resolution? This isn't over. No one should lay down and die because of the NCAA's decision today. That's not the way this country came to be, and there is no reason not to try. YOU HAVE NO CHANCE OF SUCCEEDING IF YOU DO NOT TRY. I have yet to see a Fighting Sioux athletic team lay down and die. There's no reason that people should say this is over.

They can't do that. They've acknowledged that they have received UND's appeal, they have to give the school an answer. Did the NCAA even give a deadline for schools to appeal?
