Unfortunately, I was unable to make this trip. I have one of those proverbial upper body injuries--a broken rib--discovered this morning on an xray which was being taken while Al's bus as leaving for Duluth. I'm listening to Hennessey and hoping for a win.

I tuned in late. In first round, bakers had to make cupcakes inspired by pregame meals, I think it was. Somebody made a sushi cupcake with a little piece of raw tuna on top. Matt liked it. Now, they're baking 3 different cupcakes, inspired by team colors and logo of the LA Kings.

Yes, Al's taking a bus to Duluth. He had to pull some strings, twist some arms and charm some women but he's got the tickets for one busful of Sioux fans. The demand was great enough for a second bus, but he exhausted his powers of magic/diplomacy/wheedling getting the tickets he got and is taking only 40-some people on the one-day trip to open the new arena.

Thanks, DS & Big for the info. My HDTV is 720p, not 1080p, and I am adjusting to it; last night I thought pretty much everything I watched looked great. I'll be using the DVR for the first time tonight to record the hockey game and I'll be shopping for a Blu-Ray player this weekend.

I know I'm showing myself to be a real techno-boob, but could someone help me out? Am I correct in my conclusion that even on the cable company's HD channels, not all the programming is high def? Some shows, some commercials even, look better than others in Midcontinent's Grand Forks area high def tier of channels (the 600's). Is a show really in HD only when it's on an HD channel AND the picture being broadcast carries that little HD logo?
