  1. I don't know if I'd lose any respect for Domi because he's not the fighter today that he once was. Age effects a person in all areas physically. In his prime, Domi had to be one of the most feared (if not the most) fighters in the league, and I'm sure his reputation will continue for as long as he plays. Either that or he'll be remembered for fighting the Philly fan!
  2. I think it's a matter of time. Unless you follow college hockey, you probably don't know who Matt Greene is in the NHL. He's had two fights, and in all reality, they weren't "spectacular" fights. I don't care how big and mean you are, it has to be somewhat intimidating to throw the gloves down with any veteran in the NHL. You're new to the league, trying to make an impact, and a name for yourself, and you don't want to let everyone down by losing a fight, and gain a negative reputation from your teammates. Like I said, in time, I think Matt will become more well known. Hopefully, it's not just for fighting.
  3. Have you seen any home games this year? Nothing is a given.

    PHIL #1

I don't think Phil was to blame for Friday nights game, as he was basically the only player that showed. He made some great saves to keep us in it as long as we were. With that being said, if the team will play better on Friday nights in front of Parise, put him in! We need to start playing two hockey games a weekend, rather than only showing one night. The team needs to figure out that they have to play both nights, regardless of who's in net.
  5. Sioux need to prepare hard all week, as Mankato always plays us tough. I'm sure this coming weekend will be no different. The boys need to figure out how to play like they did Saturday, both nights of the weekend. Once they do that, we'll have ourselves one HECK of a hockey team!
  6. You're a parent of a child with special needs (person first ). Thanks for the compliment. It definitely doesn't pay in the wallet, but I go to bed every night feeling great. People have told me that I should go to administration in education, but if I were to go that route, I wouldn't be working with the kids, and that's what I live for (that and Sioux hockey). My students don't ride a "short bus", but rather a regular school bus that has been adapted for wheelchairs. Like you, I'll ride it all the time, just to be with some awesome kids. Now we just need to educate the rest of the world on how awesome these people are, once you take the time to get to know them.
  7. Great night for Kozek, Jones, and Lammy. Enjoy the victory tonight boys, and start getting ready for Mankata, as they always come to play! Need the points! Go Sioux!
  8. Another reason to drink tonight!!!!!! Too bad I don't drink
  9. Probably the nature of the loss, and yes, the win will definitely help.
  10. After last night's performance, they should be happy.
  11. Zajac given Player of the Game by FSN. I agree though that Lammy is the Player of the weekend for the Sioux.
  12. What a rebound night! Way to show boys!
  13. Spirko!!! Empty net.
  14. Goalie ran for the locker room!
  15. Now we need to hold off the final charge!!!!!
  16. ZAJAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Great game right now!
  18. Frazee looking shaky! Let's go Sioux!
  19. I wasn't offended by the USA chant by the Canadians. Native Americans have had so much taken away from them since the beginning of our country, where America has virtually nothing taken away from them.
  20. There it was Sioux Hab-It! But he bailed on the move before he got knocked on his butt!
  21. Spirko and Harrington break into a slow dance, midway through the 3rd.
  22. Mariucci crowd chant perfect example as to why Native Americans don't want us to have the Sioux nickname anymore.
  23. You think with a 100 million dollar arena, they could have afforded a few of those.
  24. Yeah...I don't think they're going to tail off like they've done in the past.
