I like this. Don't know if it's true for everyone out east, but I like it. Read through most of the posts, but not all thoroughly, so forgive me if this has been brought up, but does the 9% going to the Athletic Department go to all UND sports, or all to UND hockey? If it goes to all sports, why would students deserve 9% of the REA or the lower bowl, or whatever that argument was. Personally, I do think the students deserve to be treated with more respect than what they're getting, however, I'm just becoming annoyed with some of the responses I read on this thread.

This surprises me as I would think the Gophers would be their most hated rivals (they're everyone else's arent' they? ). Yet, if you look back to the last 10 years, the Sioux and the Huskies have had some rough games. I know that I personally disliked the Huskies more than the Gophers after Woog left Minnesota, up until last year (Lucia's arrogance have kind of brought them back to the front-running). I disliked Dahl, which contributed to it a lot, but I also hated how the would play the "clutch and grab" game, to slow down or speed teams in the past. I don't think this year's Sioux team has near the physical presence that we've had the past 7 or 8 years. A lot of teams did consider our team to be "bullies" or to play dirty. We didn't see it because we love our guys. So, I guess I can see the Huskies point too with thinking of us as bullies.

I watched the game, and Blaker took a tripping call, but I never saw anything about "Abuse of Officials." I looked at both the Devils and Islanders box scores for the game, and they both have Blake for tripping, so I guess I'm wondering where you got your info.

Great weekend for the Sioux!! Still undefeated at home in 2006! Move into 4th place. Have to keep it up next week with SCCC coming to town. Their playing really well right now, so the Sioux need to enjoy the win tonight, and begin focusing on them tomorrow. Nice sweep boys! Be good to hear Hak having some positive comments two nights in a row.

I turn the game off for a little while, so I can go home, it's 2-0, turn it on and it's 3-2 with a goal being waved off? What's going on here? I'm glad I turned it on when I did, as when I turned it on, they decided to review the goal, and they waved it off. I'm their good luck charm!

I agree with not wanting a Thursday night game. It's too tiring for those two teams, and more than likely takes you out of the WCHA Tournament Championship race.
