Zach Parise has a beautiful backhand flip pass to his teammate, resulting in a goal (nice assist for Zach) in today's Devil's game. Showed a lot of patience, waiting for the play to develop. Definitely showing a higher comfort level at this point in the season.

Maverick Coach, Troy Jutting, did say that Torney would be tested tonight, in his pre-game interview, so it sounds like he knew his stats were the results of playing "softer" teams.

Great night of Sioux hockey tonight. The Sioux definitely showed up, and had a relatively easy night compared to past nights against Mankato. Hopefully they'll keep it up tomorrow night. Be nice to hear Hak's positive comments on a Friday night for a change!

Yeah, he sat in my section my last 4 years in Grand Forks (2 rows down from me). He won the best mullet award a few years ago during flashback night.
