  1. Zajac just scored his 2nd goal of the night on the PP. Way to go Travis!
  2. Travis Zajac gets a goal in tonight's Devils/Flyers game, with the primary assist going to ZPar, and David Hale gets into a fight, all in the first 7 minutes of the game.
  3. That's kind of a ridiculous price. I charge $5.00 per game, which covers supplies and shipping. My equipment is down right now, but should be up and running within a month (I hope). I have the game on DVR, waiting to be recorded once I'm up and running again. I've had to pay some ridiculous prices in the past as well for games I've wanted on DVD, but my thought process is why not share something I love with someone else who loves it as much as I do, without making a profit. Yes, it takes time, but I'm okay with doing that for other Sioux fans.
  4. It was Eaves, not sure which one though. The Shattuck Reunion!
  5. Judy's was a notorious hangout for some of the Sioux players from the past (Hrkac, Belfour, Joyce, and that crew). It isn't too popular anymore, but I know Belfour did visit it again when he came back with the cup. My buddies and I used to go there every now and then on Friday's when we worked at the mattress factory right next door.
  6. Celebrating a little, eh? Didn't that happen to ZPar too?
  7. Where realistically speaking, Robbie won't win the Hobey, here's the award criteria: Hobey Baker Memorial Award Criteria 1. Candidates must exhibit strength of character both on and off the ice. 2. Candidates must contribute to the integrity of the team and display outstanding skills in all phases of the game. 3. Consideration should be given to scholastic achievement and sportmanship. 4. Candidates must comply with all NCAA rules: be full time students in an accredited NCAA college or university; and complete 50% or more of the season. I highly doubt any current college hockey player has displayed his strength of character on and off the ice better than Robbie Bina in the past 2 years.
  8. Zach Parise breaks out of his goal scoring slump with a goal in tonight's Devils/Thrashers game. Zach also shot in the shootout, but was robbed by a beautiful save by the Atlanta goalie.
  9. Sioux are up 2-0! Exciting. Wonder who will win? Actually, I watched FSN both nights this past weekend, and CSTV's camera's are on the opposite side of the rink, so it gives you a little different view. Duncan's first goal was a lot better to see from this view.

    "sieve"

I just clicked on it and got the one of Buning. Saved it too!
  11. They just need to go into every game with the mindset that they're playing the Goofers!
  12. I wouldn't mind having the break one week later, but wouldn't want it between DU and SCSU. That may do us more harm than good by taking us out of synch if we're flying at that time. I think that was one our biggest problems last year between Michigan and BC. IMO, the game against Michigan was the best game we played all year, and we didn't play much worse the next night against Holy Cross. However, it didn't look like we were in synch at all in the first half of the BC game. JPar didn't seem to be seeing the puck as well as he had been, and the passes weren't connecting like they were in the Quarterfinal Round. Didn't like that break than, and I won't like it this year if it happens. This break comes at a nice time, to give the boys one last rest before cranking it up for the final stretch.
  13. Do you get a cool prize?!
  14. Need to put the pictures on webspace and than link them from here to that site. I could do it, but I always let AZSioux do it. However, I'm sure he's recovering from one heck of a B-day present from the Sioux.
  15. I agree with that. Also, on Friday night's game, the Sioux really didn't get going in the 2nd period until the first 8 minutes of the frame were gone.
  16. I've watched that play a few times now, and where Porter did get his stick around Okposo and the stick did touch him, it's hard to believe it was hard enough to make the kind of impact it supposedly did. Watching in step mode, it almost looks like that as soon as the puck got out of Okposo's reach, due to Porter's presence, and Okposo stopping skating, he took a dive. It looked a little funny the first time, but went with the benefit of the doubt, as Porter clearly got his stick in there. I knew right away it wasn't penalty shot material. It's almost as if Okposo felt Porter coming so he stopped skating just to take the penalty. If Okposo wouldn't have cut to the left like he did, and just drove hard to the net, he would have had a more clear break, or Porter would have had to take a more blatant penalty.
  17. One's letting up 180 footers, and the other is allowing 9 goals on the weekend........I don't think so!
  18. The Colts!
  19. Just finished watching the game for the 2nd time tonight! Not nearly as tense during this viewing session!
  20. Is it AKSioux's B-day too?? I know it's AZSioux's B-day!
  21. 1 point shy I believe.
  22. On the DU channel, intermission announcer, "North Dakota POUNDS Minnesota!" Love it!
  23. Sioux definitely exploited weaknesses this weekend, but I think the key was how geared up our boys were for this series. Definitely not the same team we watched a month ago!
  24. FSN interviewing the entire DOT line!
  25. I know that! My body's ready for bed, but I'm so hyped up that I'll be up until 2a.m.!
