This is the worst puck management/protection I've seen in a long time from this team. We are terrible with the puck.

Lets just go 10-0 in the next month and a half and that should solve any issues with the PWR!!
Whoa...slow down....we need to go 1-0 ten consecutive times for this to work right.

This is the first year since we started attending the conference tourney in 1999 that I did not renew my tickets. BUT...we are still going! We are just electing not to buy tickets in advance. We used to stay at the Embassy Suites in St. Paul every year, and we're pumped that a new one opened in Minneapolis just about a block from the Target Center.
I just hope the team can join us!!!

Wow...same here.

Yea, except the puck came out to center ice, and while Parise was still in the zone, on his way out to tag-up, the puck was passed back to Coyle and brought into the zone, with Parise still in the offensive zone. It was about as clear of an offsides as there can be. I don't know how they said it was inconclusive.
Exactly. He possessed it with Zach in the zone.

That I don't know. It was just so obvious that there is no way Toronto could miss something like that. There must have been some reason.
No doubt...

Didn't coyle pull the puck back to the blue line to re-establish possession? When coyle initially caught the puck it was still in the ozone (as well as parise) and that is what everyone (including the announcers) was looking at. However, I could have sworn coyle pulled the puck back to the blue line.
Doesn't the blue line belong to whatever zone the puck is in, so wouldn't Coyle have had to pull the puck COMPLETELY over the blue line for the puck to be considered out of the offensive zone? He pulled it onto the blue line, but I don't think he got it all the way over.

On the mobile platform, there is a menu drop down list in the upper right corner. Select "Account" and then "Ignored Users." Maybe I shouldn't use it so much, but my list of ignored users is 3 pages now. Very useful.
As for our resident GPL refugee, opinions vary regarding whether his posts rise to the level of trolling or not. It's certainly annoying, but there isn't a rule against liking rodents.
Back to hockey talk.
Just wondering...should moderators be ignoring users? Kinda defeats the purpose, no?
Please don't ban me!

Can we not have Doom and gloom posts about next year already.
You see...next year is all about how it's going this year.
Struggle to win at home and score goals - next year is going to be worse.
Win a national championship? No reason we can't hang 9 next year.

Can we just go back and reset this season. Wow, what a waste for Jost and Boeser. Both will probably be gone next year.
I love how we assume it's a waste for these guys because they're currently struggling to win, but then extol the virtues of college hockey when saying they should stay the extra year.

Doug McLeod just called this UM/PSU game a "classic Big Ten tilt."
Classic?
Since the conference (and PSU) aren't very old, surely he means "typical."

You do realize this message board stuff is just fun and games, purely for the sake of entertainment. If my posts bother you so much do yourself a huge favor : stop reading them and stop replying to them.

If this is just fun & games for the sake of entertainment, why the need to call out bias and be so abrasive? You do realize this isn't objectivecollegehockey.com?
Take your own advice. Stop reading and replying to the bias here.

I'm sure Dave will say the fact that this thread exists proves something.

I did notice him a couple times last night, but not exactly sure what's going on there. He looks tired a lot.
I think the expectation of 2 goals a night is weighing him down.

...either that or Berry doesn't want the kid demoralized by the play in front of him.

Not sure why it's necessary to make the goalie switch here. Need to figure out a better way to motivate these guys than jerking around the young goalie.

How about the other two that were waived off?

Shocker. Late period goal against.

I'm talking about how it'll affect the Pairwise rankings, unless you feel MSU is about to go on a roll of some sort and actually help UND out in that area...
No, but what can they do about it now other than get over it and win as many as possible the rest of the way? Last season they dropped a game to Wisconsin that certainly was embarrassing, but thankfully they put it behind them and went about their business.

0-7 since coming to GF. Embarrassingly bad weekend then...and even moreso as the season goes on.
I'm over it. Seems the team is as well (hopefully).

DIRECTV shows ch. 45 in the twin cities.
If you're not in the TC but have the sports pack I see the game on 628-1 on my guide (NESN ALT)...only because I have the Bruins game on!

I sense a balance in the college hockey force at least tonight.
