I think she may be hurt. She finally broke the rotation and then couple games later has not played at all. I agree with what you are seeing from Norris and Gayle wondering when they make some changes. I am seeing alot of bad setting to our hitters and mental errors. Kind of disappointing after last season.

I watched the game last night. I have been curious why Ashlyn Olson has not been playing? They said during the game that she lead the team in kills last year. Seems odd that she can barely break the rotation when the team looked like they did better last year then this year. I agree they have not looked good all season. Setting seems to be a issue I see.

They pulled a 6'3 recruit from Bismarck this week too for 2025. I wonder why our coaches never look for local talent. SDSU wins with girls from the mid west. We like to look elsewhere...

I think they will get better too. I do wish they would have at least been competive in the losses. Other then one set they lost they were all blow outs. Alot errors and blocking was bad. It doesn't get any easier with today's game

Here will come the boos.. but probably because she was third team Class B girl in South Dakota... We have alot of third team Class B girls in North Dakota that will not be getting scholarships either...

I went to the scrimmage and I will say I am not a volleyball expert but know enough to make me dangerous. The team looks much improved from last year. The girls just looked more like Division 1 college athletes. I plan on trying to go to the Crookston match as well. I am really excited how much the Tupacs have transformed this team. If you would have told me that this team would look like they do now in just year two I would not believe you. Two years ago they were unwatchable, now I am excited to get to a few games! I hope we can keep both of the Tupacs around for a LONG time! Cant wait to see who they recruit for the 2024 season! Success only brings in better players!

Does this now mean ESPN + will no longer carry any of the games?

I was just going to ask if anyone knew when the new recruit was coming to town (hint SD UND). Guessing this is my answer!

I dont think Trent was a traditional type point guard either. We are not any worse off then last year as far as point guards. Eli King would be just as good as Trent and then we would have a big athletic line up as well. A traditional pass first, great outside shooting point guard would be ideal, but at this point i think getting the best player available is best. I still think we also need some help in the middle. Brian Matthews just hasnt got better and T can only do so much. Last year we got out played in the middle alot. I see the starting line up as King, Treyson, BJ, T and Amar or Deng starting. Thats a nice big athletic line up.

I would agree that I think a big would be what we need too. Plus they may be going for best player available for the scholarship. If I'm right it's for a grad student and that scholarship will be available next year again.

Thats kind of what I got out of the conversation. That would be a nice get. Am I correct its more of a grad type one and done thing?

Its been so quiet on here and I am missing some hoops talk! I over heard the coaches talking last week about going after one more piece for the upcoming season. I kind of forgot we had one more scholarship. Any inside info on who they are looking at or if you think they will use it?

If those people are already going to Fargo any ways how would that affect Altru? Grand Forks is big enough for two hospitals in my opinion.

If we had a Sanford hospital here those people would not need to go to Fargo and we have a large Canadian population that we could draw from.

Totally agree that Grand Forks is big enough to handle to hospitals. Definitely will help develop the south end. Bismarck had two hospitals when their population was less then Grand Forks.

Do you think this means that Sanford is going to use that land they purchased to build a new hospital in Grand Forks?

Alot of the complaints along with my own were that Sather didnt know how to figure out a rotation. He was playing Suecker and Nero big minutes. Started Danielson at point guard. Reid Grant was playing alot of minutes. When he finally figured things out half way through the year, that some of us were calling for since the beginning of the year, we started seeing some improvements. I really liked the recruits he brought in last summer and I like the recruits he got this spring. I think he is figuring things out and am excited again about UND basketball!

I would say a very good. When I moved here in 2015 I seen very little development in this town. I had a hard time finding any homes to purchase and very little new construction. I went to more business close out sales then ribbon cuttings. Since he has been elected there has been a explosion of commercial development in the town. There is construction everywhere you look. I am excited for the future of Grand Forks. We have a business friendly mayor that loves the town and likes to get things done. I totally agree with how he handled the FuFeng disaster. He was looking at it as a big impact for the city, but some battles you just cant fight.

Thanks for the advice on House of Punjab. Took your recommendation there and got exactly what you said to get. I got the medium spice. I was going in with not alot of expectations as I have tried Indian food before and didn't care for it. The food was awesome !!! Medium spice was definitely not to spicy for me. Excellent taste . Looking forward to going back. Had to wait a bit to get in. Took awhile to get my food but it was worth it!.
