Your opinion is that Chaves has done a great job as AD, I am smart enough to know that almost every team has gone backwards under his leadership. You are saying because Greg McDermott thinks he is a good coach we should keep him around. Other then the first year he has not won a tournament game. I obviously dont know Greg but I almost Guarantee he doesnt feel a coach with a 33% win percentage after 6 years is doing great. No other big time basketball school would allow this. I just can't get excited about this team this year. We beat the worst team in the league at home. ORU has beat us already. One bright spot is Eli King. I really like watching that kid play. Hard nose never takes anything off. Now his shot is coming around.

They said they were getting some of it from the tribe and the rest in loans. They picked grand forks because they said they had proven ties to the region from their history. Did you read or listen to anything that was said ? As for the 800 people they would have had 3 years to figure that out. We have two major employers coming to town. Potato plant and soybean crushing. Not everyone can or wants to be a factory worker. Jobs for spouses. That's why grand forks can't grow like fargo and bismsrck

Exactly and that Chinese company went to another state and built. I guess they weren't scared and got the economic impact we didn't. The same people complaining about the Chinese company and casino are the same people complaining our mall is empty. They go hand in hand ! We need employers to bring people to bring more business. You are right I do think Mal does look very angry out there and does complain about every call. When you do have an actual legit gripe, refs wont listen to you. Yes BOTH Meyer girls are huge floppers and get away with it. We had the Big Meyer center in foul trouble last night. Prime opportunity to get her fouled out and we didnt take advantage of it.

She has done nothing in college coaching. Couple good years with a high school team. We hire her and then extend her after many years of terrible teams.

To be fair I did think we got a few calls that were questionable and I dont mind a coach standing up for her players. AJ has been in this league long enough that he always gets a few calls. Plus I think half his practices must be teaching the girls how to flop. The slightest touch and they are on the ground like a truck hit them. I have seen that many years of his players, not just this year. Refs in womens basketball dont like a girl falling hard and usually call a foul. My opinion.

They are close only because they hired Hutter. I have seen things from this year that I've never seen the previous years with Mal. Better rotations. Making adjustments. Better offense. Looking at scouting reports and making adjustments. Like tonight how they double downing on sdsu big. Mal never did any of this before. Not a coincidence it's happening this year after the hire.

I think Mal looks at the forum. Took my suggestion to play Demers and Ibrahim at the same time. Hope I gave her good advice !

I see it does make a difference if we make coaching changes. We can recruit athletes to grand forks, just need the right coach. Now we need it for a few other sports before our culture is destroyed.
