Yeah it's all bad luck why we lose all the time . And because of our budget, and we live in grand forks and the portal... maybe there is another reason why we lose all the time . Our luck will change when we get a new coach !

I never thought that from the beginning. But our top 3 candidates that they announced none of them were impressive. I especially didnt like hiring a middle aged guy from a division 2 school that historically always is on top.

Exactly! Sprinkle in a danielson, levias, brooks and mathews to give a breather. But dumping 5 bench players that should be playing division 2 ball together doesnt work!

How about we just hire a good coach that knows what he is doing and knows how to recruit. We eliminate all the rest of those hires.

Couldnt agree more! I have been saying this all season. The hockey line switch isnt working! We dont have good enough players to do this! Also to many times we have three players that are no threat to shoot on offense. Why play them together! ?? I would like to see Norman And Eaglestaff on the floor at the same time.

NDSU up 24 on Denver now. No way we win at Denver after they lose like that. Their coach won't let that happen... our coach will be our coach and not have a game plan

Neither one is D1 talent in my opinion . Why jump on these two when they would have been there at the end of the season ? Or maybe that's all Sather can get...

Other then Bj and matthews I don't know any that had other D1 offers. And I think matthews and Bjs were taken away from them why we ended up getting them.

Or maybe I heard its her last year. I think she got engaged and might just be done.

I believe juliet Gordon is a grad student and her final year. Im guessing Kacie comes back.

Although I will say that the highlights I have watched of her, looks like a senior playing against grade school kids.... girls basketball must not be very good in that part of Canada. She will definitely be challenged at this level, I hope she can make the adjustments. If she can she is going to be a good player for us.

This Recruit I am really excited to have on campus! She seems to be a scoring machine! Nice size too

I agree that this year seems more frustrating finding those right bench players, but i think we can mostly agree who our starting 5 is. Some of them need to be in when he brings in bench players. Mass subbing and having all subs on the floor at the same time hasn't been working

That's exactly what a good coach does. Calls a timeout when another team is on a run. The fact that you called them a magical timeout just takes credibility away from you. But I have seen Coach Sather do this many times in the past two years. We blow large leads and just throw our hands up in the air. Also the hockey line up changes needs to go! Stick with 7 or 8 and our starters need to play mass minutes. We should always have 3 or 4 starters on the court at all times.

They will beat south Dakota and ndsu at home. End up in the top 4. Sdsu is just to good and will walk away with the league again .

Maybe everyone else knows this but I searched Sathers salary. He gets $180K a year ? And that's around the middle/top of the summit. That seems like a good salary for competing for last place.

So we will continue to blame the portal, the players, the budget, living in grand forks all as reasons why we can't ever win. When only one person is in charge of not losing players to the portal, making players better, finding ways to win games with your coaching ability and selling kids on coming to a high end school with a brand new campus. Gotcha . I guess we need to go back to D2 or love being in last place every year .

Sather took that team to the finals the next year . What have we done since then with his players? We went from bad to worse in opinion. Can we get a up and coming coach for once?

Again our players are not choosing Arizona or Grand Forks. We are competing with Brookings SD, Vermillion SD, Mcomb IL, All three of those schools have better teams then us. Well I guess everyone has a better team then us. I havent heard of any summit league teams in Arizona.

You feel that Vermillion SD and Brookings SD is easier to recruit to? That's were our top 3 teams are in the summit. I hate the excuse Grand Forks isnt the place to recruit to. We have a great University and a much larger city then Brookings or Vermillion. We have had other successful teams in the past at UND why now is it so hard to recruit to? We won the Big Sky a few years ago and went to the big dance. Was it hard to recruit those players? At some point we need stop blaming everything but the true reason why we are where we are at. The coach and the AD for hiring him.

And yet as a Junior he is playing less minutes and scoring less then he did as a true freshman at UND? Sounds more like he was with a bad team at UND that played him a ton of minutes. Now playing for a good team and not having the same stats as a junior.

Totally agee. The only three that I would hate to lose are those three and I would add Trent. I really like his game despite him not being able to shoot the outside shot. I would actually miss Danielson's hustle, but he is a very good D2 player. But sometimes he is the heart and soul of our team and we need that.

On here twitter account she has a picture of herself as a child with a Sioux cheerleader outfit. Does she have ties to North Dakota? Looks like another good get for the volleyball team. Cant wait to see where Coach Tupac can take this team !

But never played much at NKU and then went to D2... where he probably deserves to play. This is just stating Sather recruits D2 players. yes both players should have stayed at UND where we have a coach that likes D2 players.
