So far I think we have received equal or better talent from all the commits. Most of the girls that left the team are not close to the talent we are getting. We lost 3 impactful players from last years team, Pemberton, Ibrahim and schiller. I think Hutter has done a excellent job filling in with quality players. Its impressive to me the talent he has got to come to this team after losing our head coach and 8 players bailing on the team. He had those cards stacked against him and still getting high quality players.

I seen on maybe her dads twitter account that she was getting calls from the big ten and big east. Probably not getting the sister, but that would be awesome

Totally agree! What a breath of fresh air! I think the last 3 signed are all over 6'2! I like his philosophy of going after P4 players that are from the midwest. I wish he had a few more open roster spots to see who else he can get!!

No offense to either one of those 4 star recruits but Omaha isn't good and I don't see them helping Omaha out. But I do wish both of them well and we will get to see them back at the Betty again.

Just seen Beal signed with omaha. Kind of surprised by that one. Wasn't sure she was good enough for D1. I'm happy for her though.

I wish we were looking for a new coach this year. I think he would have been a good one and adding Carson would be cherry on top. Missed on a good opportunity to get a local coach by sticking with one that hasnt proven anything in 6 years.

You mean her dad was adamant she left. We will see if she made the right decision. Of course he wanted her to stay but I dont see him begging her. I heard there was a player that asked to come back and he said no. He wanted players that wanted to be here

I think she made a mistake leaving. With und and the players they have now she would have no competition. With ndsu they have several good guards that shoot better and taller

Well obviously he was good enough to get offers from places like that. I would take my chances on kids like that then some of the ones we have here. Coach Hutter is taking a girl that never played but was on a power 4 team.

St Thomas just signed a player that played Iowa and Miami. I hope we can get a couple of those type players.

I've lived here 10 years now and follow most sports and I can't think of one that left for a better position. But alot of coaches fired in those 10 years. I wonder if it could be our AD ? 🤔

Awesome pick up ! I like which direction he is going after recruits! That's how you recruit! Get a good freshman on a good power 4 team that maybe thinks they aren't getting the minutes. I wish the men's team did this !

I dont know that helps us. I'd rather see him use it on a portal transfer. But I see he is very loyal to the athletes that stayed even though a few probbaly could go.

Listening to Coach Hutter's press conference really got me pumped. I really like what he said and i think he was the right choice. I never got that same feeling from when I listened to Mal speak. What really surprised me was that Chaves said he was surprised and caught off guard when Mal said she was stepping down. He really is that far removed from the program?? That 8 girls had put their names in the portal and he thought business as usual? He should have been the one letting her go. I guess we can thank Mal for stepping down and knowing when she had lost the ship.

Couldnt agree with you more. I am definitely ok with him leaving and hoping we can get a upgraded shooter with better defense. I am curious if Amar will get any offers better then UND. He really fell off his second year here. Last year I would have been disappointed losing him, this year not so much.

Anyone have any inside knowledge of our former players in the portal? Who do we think will be able to get better offers then what they had at UND? The only one that I think maybe could go to a better school would Mier. I am hoping we hear about some signings soon. Sorry the basketball chat got so quiet missed talking some hoops!

I wasnt necessarily looking for if they won or lost, but more if any of the new players stood out. If we can expect any of the new players to make a difference next year. If you hear anything please let us know
