Not trying to be condescending, but facts are facts. The teams left in the WCHA are not historic playoff teams of late. (Throw out the old Michigan Tech glory years) Let these guys have their own conference, and one or two of them will likely be in the "show" each and every season.
The "new" WCHA will ensure teams like Mankato will make the WCHA postseason tourney all the time and have a way better chance of getting into the NCAA playoffs with an autobid. Years like this where Mankato is ranked high in the Pairwise have been few and far in between, and I believe it is an anomaly. I am not sure why they and other like minded schools are upset.
Don't forget all of the other programs at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences: PT, OT, Athletic training, Lab, etc etc. This would help many programs.
Yikes that was a frustrating period to watch! Like someone said above, some of those chances missed eat up the
Innards! Still one down is doable in third.
