I agree, I was at the game as well and I thought goaltending cost us the game.

I learned my lesson with Dataflix, I now am forced to listen to the opposing team's internet audio broadcasts since UND's never works.

In that replay, did you see the guys with the dead looking gopher hanging on the stick they kept showing? Priceless! Too bad we lost though....that was hard to watch knowing the outcome.

Anyhow, lets not start acting like fans at the Ralph do sometimes: fighting with each other. We still have the best jerseys in the country, with or without the interlocking logo. I am starting to feel like the Queer Eye for the hockey jersey guy, that is not good. Gophers suck! There, now I feel better.

I realize the S and tomahawks is a modification of the Blackhawks jersey, however, it wasn't as blatant as the large center logo or the exact logo that Notre Dame uses, it had SOME creativity. I think the main point to take away from this thread is that UND does not use the logo as much as they used to. You cannot deny this. As I stated earlier, they seem to be phasing it out, which is refreshing to me.

It's a bit upsetting to see many don't share in my opinion. I am happy, however, that UND's merchandise does not bear nearly as many "notre-dame logos" as it has in the past. I believe UND is phasing out the logo, as well as the geometric logo and we won't have to worry about this issue in the near future. By the way, I am glad UND dropped the Chicago Blackhawk logo and designed our own. That was a blatant ripoff too. Put the current logo on the 80's jersey's with the S and crisscrossed tomahawks and we'd have a great jersey. In football, put the new Sioux logo on the helmets and you'd have a great look too.

I don't know who came up with it first, but everyone knows it as the Notre Dame logo. I am by no means 'trolling'. I think there are many other options to use besides the interlocking ND. How about the diagonal interlocking UND? We should be original, that is all I'm saying. I refuse to buy any UND stuff with the Notre Dame logo.

Does anyone else agree with me that the Notre Dame ripoff shouldn't be used by UND anymore? We need our own identity. It is like how Moorhead High or Mayo high school use the U of M logo on their jerseys, it just looks bad and uncreative. Get rid of the Notre Dame logo! We are North Dakota!!!

I would also like to say thanks to the operators of this site too! It is the main way I can keep up with Sioux sports and what is going on in Grand Forks while living afar.

No offense, and I may very well be missing a prior joke, but it's "pseudo".

Two things stand out as hard to believe: 1. The Gophers are a number 1 seed. 2. UND is in the NCAA's.

It is refreshing to see an outsider write what this guy did. I try to tell people down here in southern MN about the Sioux, but they accuse me of being a "homer". Hopefully this article will help people understand the tradition that is Fighting Sioux hockey. If you haven't been to GF to a Sioux game, you have to experience it, at least once in your life, at the Mecca on the prairie, just like the author said.

I know what you mean about graduating and moving, can't see as many games! It sucks.

What is going to happen with this series? DU is a high scoring team. Can we shut them down? I see a split, I really hope we can sweep.

This brings up an interesting question: Who is more of an idiot, Grandpa Sid or Jeff Dubay? In essence, who is less credible? I think it would make a good poll question.
