Another unoriginal thing! I'm watching the commercials, and now they have "BISON Illustrated"...sound familiar? Yeah, thats right, SIOUX Illustrated.

I see the empty seats where the band must sit, but there are many empty seats between the 20s also, are they all in the concourse for an early halftime? Me thinks not.

I've seen a smattering of Sioux fans in the crowd, a couple sitting with the SIU fans, the kelly green really stands out in that crowd of crimson and white.

I should add, now that there is going to be a protest, I feel threatened, angry, and saddened about going to the game. Am I going to get beat up for wearing my jersey by this group? Does my opinion matter? Nope.

Absolute garbage. The plan to demonstrate was just released in a campus wide email to all UND employees. This has just opened the floodgates on using the UND email list serv to talk about demonstrations from PETA to anti-Abortion to anti-Obama or McCain. I am completely embarrassed to be a UND employee right now.

That is awesome! So if I buy the regular game for ps2 I can customize to that degree? Or, do I have to by the PC version?

Is "the rez" really a term that one should be throwing around? I have always believed that to be a derogatory term.

The nickname debate has sparked great dialogue between UND and the tribes...I think this is one thing that simply wasn't thought of before. Look for more things like this to happen in the coming weeks and months. This isn't "ass kissing", it is education. For example, personally, I had no idea the tribes had their own flags, now I know, and will see them everytime I enter the Ralph.

I also noticed that there are plenty of excuses on AGS.com from SELA fans...what is the deal with that? UND could have beat GVSU last year if we weren't down to our 4th string RB and playing our backup QB! We could have beat Idaho St. last week by more if our secondary didn't have injured members....I would have won the Powerball on Wed if i had only 4 more numbers and the Powerball!

Just about every bar has a bus that heads to the games, most are free. This is the way to do it! Whitey's in East Grand Forks usually has 2 full size school buses going to the games. After, you are fairly close to the GF downtown area, just a few blocks, across the bridge, so you could technically walk it and take a cab back to your hotel at the end of the night. As far as Saturday, sleep til noon, eat lunch at a local restaurant like Rhombus or Italian Moon, Blue Moose, Paradiso, then get ready for saturday's game!

Not a fan of Neil...but a big concert for the region. The Alerus is going to try to get bigger concerts like this according to Steve Hyman, the new big cheese there.

Hockey has and always will be the number 1 sport on campus. With football moving up, it has a great chance to become closer to hockey. I think you will continue to see football increase in popularity, and the gap between it and hockey will close in the next few years. Football will have more and more hardcore fans.
