I must be giving too much respect to the Avs. Why does everyone think the Sharks are going to win? I know the Avs have been unreliable all year, but who is scoring points for the Sharks? I also need to know that for my hockey pool.

I liked Crawling as the opening song for warm-ups, but they got rid of it this year. I think pretty much any upbeat techno song is good for getting the crowd going too. If you are in Detroit, Hey Hey Hockeytown is a good song too.

See, you are confused. NorthStar is at UND. It is his new underage girlfriend that is going to clown college in the fall.

Now that is just cheating. How dare you bring up that this whole discussion is based on a test used to decide acceptance into college, but is not a very good predictor of college success.

By accepting fewer students at UND, there will be fewer UND grads that leave GF or ND. Seriously though, I like the idea of making it harder to get into UND. In my teaching experience there are definitely some people that don't belong there. However, sometimes it is the people with 4.0's in high schools that struggle the most. I do find it interesting that there is the goal of having more students, and then the goal of making it harder to attend UND. I guess they realized if we had more students, there still wouldn't be anywhere to park. Edit: Jloos beat me to my last point.

Tonight's remembrance of Dru was full of students in the Memorial Union Ballroom. It was pretty short. A few of her friends talked, there were a few prayers, a few poems, and some pictures of her. Afterwards everyone was given a candle to walk to the sorority house. They were left on the front step. Unfortunately it was windy and some blew out already. Otherwise you might want to drive by tonight to see it.

I wish people would think and not respond with emotions. I have no problem with WDAZ cutting in for the press conference. However, they cut in when there was no press conference. I also don't think it was going to inform any family and friends. I am sure they were already searching, already contacted, or already saw when they cut in the first time. I'm just saying I thought it was handled poorly. If they cut in and had the press conference, it wouldn't have been an issue. I guess some people just need a lot more closure than I do.

Hey, I'm not trying to sound insensitive. But what did anyone gain out of them cutting in? They had already gave out that same information. They looked very uncomfortable, and unprofessional, because they didn't even know what to talk about. They could have put the message on the bottom that the press conference was postponed. And I missed the end of the series. They could have waited 10 minutes to tell me they didn't have any new information.

Now they don't know when the press conference will happen, if at all. If that is the case, why does WDAZ bother to cut into the hockey game? They had nothing new to say, and only repeated what they said before. To me that was totally stupid.

After reading the other post, I would guess the North Stars.

I thought we paid $60 last year. There wasn't a $5 shipping charge since we got them directly at the REA. I can't believe it is $75 for the season. Screw that. I'm going to go to three games instead and have a cup holder.
