I would suggest making a reservation with the HoJo as soon as the schedule is released. It is within walking distance of the Kohl Center and it is where the team stays. There are better hotels and cheaper hotels, but it is worth it for the benefits.

I guess the number of people going must be less this year.

Anyone else making the trip to Madison? I expect a lot of Sioux fans there as usual. I hope the Badgers are going downhill right now after their sweep, and not fired up to play us. We definitely need to shut down Earl this year. I would like to see Lammy and Brandt play this weekend, but I know I'm in the minority. It will be fun to see the best WCHA crowd with the students standing the whole game, and everyone else standing several times during the game.

You are one UMD fan, and you have already had at least one UND fan cheer for UMD. You can't expect every Sioux fan to want UMD to win.

Does this forum software allow the function to ignore people? It would be nice to be able to choose if we want to ignore the trolls. It has worked great on another forum that I frequent, so it would be a nice option for people that want to use it.

The defense was horrible last night. How could they let JPar face 24 shots over 3 1/4 periods.

The first power play looked really good, except that they didn't score. Why do we have another game where only one player can score? As far as JPar, I hope some of you guys finally get a clue.

I find it interesting that there are so many comments about what type of fan this or that person is. Should there be a test to determine this? Is there any plan for Northeastern to make a trip to REA in the next couple of years? I know BC was already there.

I never had a problem with any of your comments, except the name calling. You can still love the Sioux while wanting to fix problem areas. I am sick of losing every year. We always had the same pattern of winning a lot of games, but not winning when it counted. We also played every game close, even if it was a weak team. Although I have repeatedly stated that we could get better this year, I will gladly look foolish if we can win the championship.

The system was no longer working with Blais, and I don't know if Hakstol's plan doesn't work or if it is too similar to Blais, but it is not working either. This is a forum, which means it is a place to discuss things. Thanks for the name calling.

Wisconsin is also coming up, and they are currently undefeated. I don't know if they will beat Denver tonight, or the Gophers next weekend.

Even with the rule changes we are still getting screwed with inconsistent calls.

This team has a lot of returning players, so there should not be anything to rebuild.

There is no early conclussion, there is no bandwagon, the fact is we suck this year. Yes, we can get better and it is only October, but this team has been a huge letdown from how good they should be.

This is a weird interview with Foyt. He is asked to talk about the team, but he can't really speak about playing in games. I guess he has a lot of time to think about the team then. It sounds like Radke can sit out a few games, so maybe Foyt will get his chance.
