Wow, wasn't even from behind. A simple rub out you see 50 times a game. Not even a hard hit. And a great acting job by CC, although these referees were getting sucked into some strange calls the last half of the third (the mugging of Gardner by 4 CC players and he gets the lone roughing).. Guessthey were trying to even up the marbles. Didn't see it at all during the action, just saw the 5 go up on the board. Thought at the time it was a stupid chance for the C to take when the game was in hand, but now seeing it I'll change my mind.

US team is good. Matt hasn't lost a beat since Cam took over, some great saves, especially on the US PPs in the second. Gopher recruit D a typical gopher, good wheels, not much D, tried to start a fight with Ladue. I like the uncommitted dman, JD Greenway, hope we're looking at him as we'll need to replace D. Since he's from NY, he'll probably end up east somewhere, or CHL.
