I'd agree with that

The students make more noise than anyone else in the arena, so probably should be given a break on this stuff, as they are the primary "atmosphere" at the games. While I understand and wouldn't like exposing my young kids to the chant (no longer have young kids by the way), it's not abnormal for 18-20 year olds to chant sh??** or f?** in unison, and while it didn't happen when I was a student in the old ralph, I'd likely have taken part had it been done. I can't really even understand the sh?? from the other side of the arena (it's just noise), although I know what they are chanting. Would guess most young kids hear these words at home, before they are ever exposed at the arena.. BTW, sh?? slipped out of my mouth a few weeks ago when taco scored the ot gwg, I ddin't yell it, there were no kids around me, and I don't think the adults around me even heard (they were probably saying something similar).

So get off your soapbox, and settle back in to your arm chair

They are relegated to the B1G, where they can beat somebody

Tons of empty seats at the X. Do gopher fans season tickets get them in, or do they have to buy thee separately. Very few fans interested in being at this tournament, it appears. And Gopher fans resort to comments on the SCSU fan base at the game, such as cheering for the opponent, fat women, etc, etc. And now back to their winning ways in the B1G..

No more practice injuries allowed.

Watched the game this morning. Two things: 1. Don't want WMU on consecutive weekends at the Ralph. Chances of coming out of 4 straight healthy are not good. 2. No Shep and Walsh. Shep calls nothing which allows even more WMU hooking/holding/hits from behind. Walsh makes phantom calls that go against ND. The 3 on Gersich were total head scratchers. The last one on the ND PP on Gersich, wow. The WMU player lets go of his stick to make sure Gersich doesn't go down after having the stick in his skates. What was that called, "slashing"?. Not evern sure what the first two were but all the announcers could say on replay was, "it's in there somewhere".. This ND team does not play quite as physical as many before them, and the opponents are taking advantage of Shep not calling penalties. Saw it against UNO, now again against WMU.

One man's garbage is another's man's art, apparently.

Yes, that has changed. Gino said they thought the stick was illegal but waited for an appropriate time to ask for a measurement.
-
Vs wisco in the wcha playoffs in 1983, gino challenged the curve of a wisco stick after wisco scored in ot. It was illegal, so goal didn't count, but Wisco scored shorthanded to win the series. The smoke filled room ncaa tourney committee then left the Sioux out of the ncaa tournament, when the FF was played in the Ralph. Imo the badgers and Sioux were by far the best 2 teams in the country that year, and wisco won the title easily without having to face the Sioux again.

That helps, mine are renewal tickets from the last two years so would guess they'll arrive this week or next.

Your tickets came already?

WDAZ will pick up the American Sports TV broadcast on Saturday night on WDAZ xtra (596 on midco cable, 8.3 with ota antenna).

do you have a link to the pic? I'm not a twitter guy Edit: Found it, and yes, that's the guy. Looks like he picked up a hoodie (is that a hoodie?) in the Sioux Shop before the men's game.

W looks right, without the wutang
-
Yes, but he was my height (6-3) or slightly taller. Would have thought a linebacker recruit had he been with Bubba.
-
Yellow W, so maybe, but he was 6-3 or6-4.

And this board's IQ takes a Sunday morning dive.

That basket's backboard was broken sometime Friday afternoon/night after or during a practice. No one reported it so the betty staff found it when they came to the building prior to yesterday's game. They were not sure they'd have it repaired by the 3PM start time, but got it done, apparently without checking the lights. Strange to be behind 2-0 before the opening tip-off.

Just came in through the Olympic to the NE corner to see the building. Didn't stay long.

UND FIGHTING HAWKS vs. CC Tigers - SATURDAY Gameday
sprig replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
I was in 107 at the time and couldn't see the corner in front of 110. If I had I wouldn't have thought anything of that mild hit anyway.
