Wait a minute. It's my first year in Grand Forks, first season I was at every game in the Ralph, and they win. Warning, I'm still on the waiting list for season tickets, so someone may want to vacate a seat for me before we go on another losing streak.

Thought about how good the defensemen were on the 80 and 82 teams, and I think this current group is the all time best group of defensemen in Sioux history. And the defensive team throughout the lineup (given that back checking in the early 80s was hooking all the way down the ice, which was how the game was played then). Unbelievable to watch the old championship games and see the stuff that seemed "normal" then. At the least, this team is in the argument with the 82 and 87 teams for the best Sioux team of all time. (note; have never seen a 59 and 63 team game tape). Will see you all at the Ralph tonight.

Have it on the dvr and will probably watch several times this week. Last night, at the start of the third, my son was upstairs dealing with kids when the period started. I "paused" the telecast to wait for him to return. Shortly after my phone "buzzed" indicating someone had scored on the CHN app. Didn't look, had to wait for him to return, then wait for several up and down the ice rushes to see if it was 2-2 and 3-1. You could imagine the angst every time the puck went to the Sioux end, until finally, the Boeser to Scmaltz to Caguilla goal happened. Relief and celebrations occurred simultaneously.
