  1. Although that feed (first call uplink) scans in for me at 11986 H 6112, I've got a huge 81% quality there (no sound though). Got the WNBA game at 12088 H 13232 (tx-1).
  2. Just rescanned that tp and found no live channels, just scrambled channels with sound and a test screen with tone; good quality though, in the 70s on the traxis, so should be good to go for pointing.
  3. Sounds right, there are channels there with sound only; there are also scrambled channels on the sat with sound only.
  4. The frequency is listed above in a prior post, but there is not a 24/7 signal; won't be up again until just before game time next Sunday. Edit: Whoops, think I misunderstood your question. The Sioux tp isn't powered (which you already know), Pete has listed a tp for pointing.
  5. Definitely, and if you don't live in the TC area, with online help from Pete you can get it done.
  6. That is the sat and tp where the FSSN scanned in on test day; a very strong signal, so would guess this will be its new home.
  7. Best chance is on 434, NESN. Unfortunately the online schedule runs just through Oct 9 (directtv's through the 7th), so, maybe in a few days we'll know. The Bruins don't play on the 10th so chances are good the Sioux/BU game could be on; the Bruins do, however, play on the 11th so the Sioiux/UMass will not likely be on.
  8. Is there an echo in here?
  9. Although it will likely be on 91W, it almost certainly wont' be on 93 again, since there is little power left there. So, if the REA changes it's mind again, you'll just have one extra move. I'd expected the tp to be listed by now after the testing day, but it's still not there.
  10. Still not confirmed on the REA web site, so I guess not yet. I've got the transponder info at which the station scanned in if anyone wants it to enter in their stb menu. May not be worth repointing for fixed system owners, however, until the official site shows up on the REA web site. I hope they use that transponder, as it's the most powerful signal I'm getting from any satellite. Wouldn't guess, though, that it will be powered up again until 15 minutes before the Manitoba game start.
  11. The eastern FSNs in the sports pak get several BU games (NESN, I think), so could well get the icebreaker, also some ECAC games. You'll get FSRM (Denver) so will probably get those games when the Sioux are there (are they this year?). The Great Lakes Tourney is almost always on Fox Detroit, so you'd get that, as well as other Mich/MSU/Miami games. If you're in the TC region, you obviously already get Gopher and Badger games.
  12. For those motorized, try blind scanning 91W today. I have 79% quality on the traxis, some old game footage is being shown
  13. The ticket to their concert would be a bit easier to get than the Sioux/Gopher series
  14. You could have just written that and saved so many words I don't need to see the Gophers to enjoy Sioux hockey; I go whenever I can, which isn't too often. I drove to every home series in the mid 70s when the Sioux were terrible, the final years under Bjorkman. Only chance recently for a Gopher game was the expected Sioux/Gophers matchup in the West Regional in GF, but Holy Cross messed that up. The Ku band satellite system takes care of most of the games.
  15. Thanks for the info; would be nice for fixed fans to make it official ASAP. Hope that doesn't mean I have to delete the tp I entered in my traxis
  16. Hope reformed fan is right since it's not yet listed on the REA web site. I see reformed has deleted the initial post. Reformed, where did the info come from; please confirm it's correct before fans start moving their fixed systems.
  17. Don't know where the "old" line is, yababy, but: 1. Someday you'll hit that line and 2. You'll still want to be at Sioux hockey and 3. Those below the old line will be bitching at you for buying tickets and ruining the atmosphere and 4. Because you're "old" the Sioux will lose. BTW, getting kids hooked on Sioux hockey will create another generations of "old" people. Good grief
  18. You guys can share my bandwidth; i'm going to the sioux audio.
  19. Mine just froze up also; the web site said they had way more logons last week than anticipated and the webcast had problems; it also said they'd fixed it for this week. I don't think they had any idea how many Sioux fans would try to watch, however.
  20. There's a volleyball game on the BigSky webcast right now if you'd like to try out the webcast before tonight.
  21. If you check earlier in this thread, you'll find a link to a free webcast. The game link is already there, according to the site, it will start about 1/2 hour before game time. You'll need to register. The regular Sioux radio broadcast is available at http://fightingsioux.xosn.com/liveEvents/l...DB_OEM_ID=13500
  22. The satellite info on the REA web site has been changed from the 07-08 info to 08-89 "coming soon"; must be getting close.
  23. Videos on installing and using a Mercury II. As long as you have a clear view of the southern sky from your dish mounting locations, you should be able to get it done. I originally had a fortec (classic na) receiver and blind scanned (auto scan) with it fixed, but sold it and bought a traxis prior to motorizing. Just $99 shipped for the traxis right now.
  24. Do you know what satellite was used?
  25. The online store has a variety of pucks, so I'd guess the answer is yes.
