Hrkac was checking with Cheesemover, they can get the games if they know the coordinates.

For Sports Bars with big dishes and C band, including Sensors in the TC, I believe this is the satellite info: AMC 7 (137W) FR 3760 SR 25192 H Scans in as program 7 along with 360 North (360 North is apparently AC3 audio). The station is apparently powered 24/7 so it can be scanned anytime. I'd try the Stadium in Bismarck to see if they have the right equipment.
-
So on what satellite and what transponder do you find GCI?
-
I think Ovechkin's bad rep around here comes from his pregame antics at the WJC in GF a few years back. I think he's probably grown up a bit since then.
-
Irwin gave the big post game two hander to Zajac, guess since Zajac is still walking upright Irwin gets by with it.

I don't think the REA will uplink this to the FSSN transponder. You can get GCI with an FTA system, but it is C band, so you'd need a big dish and C LNB to scan it in. I would guess Midco's big dish that gets stations in the GF area will be turned to the appropriate satellite, whereever that is. I'd guess to get it to all midcontinent and FSSN areas, many dishes would have to be turned, and Midco is choosing to turn just one. I know it's a lost cause to try and get the cable company in northwestern ND to turn a dish and pick up GCI (NCCRay at Ray, ND). I'd also guess the REA has a big dish and maybe the equipment to get the signal, how they uplink that to the FSSN transponder I don't know. But I suppose they'd have to have some sort of clearance from GCI to do it (like Midco does).

The best players are the best players. The best of the early 80s teams came from the SJHL, and mostly from one team (Notre Dame).

Googled and GCI (Anchorage) owns 9 or 10 transponders on the Galaxy 18 (123W) satellite, so, that's a good place to scan if you have C band. No doubt that is where it is, just haven't found frequency yet.
-
I PM'ed cheesemover to find out if Sensor's has a BUD (Big Ugly Dish) and C band capability. I would guess anyone that lives in the TC, or Fargo, or wherever, should call the establishment to ask if they have C band capability. Still don't know for sure what satellite they would need to point at, nor the frequency.

You have to pay for the audio; video looks free.

To what satellite is GCI uplinked?

http://www.goseawolves.com/ViewArticle.dbm...;ATCLID=1299873 Not sure if this is available live, possibly just archived a couple days after it's played? Although it appears a "live" link is available near the bottom of the web page.

SIOUX Recruits - 2008-09 Updates, Monitoring Their Junior League Play
sprig replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
In spite of some of the posting on here the last couple years, majority my be exaggerated. -
You can watch the past UAA games archived on the site. Odd that the FSSN broadcasts when they were here last fall are archived there, for free. I believe you have to pay for those same broadcasts on the Sioux site. BTW, you'll need the real audio player to get the games this weekend. Or, if you have a big dish and C band, you can apparently get these games on TV, so, sports bars may be an option for some.

Slew foot, yes It was worse than most cfb's in that it appeared Gregoire was trying to turn, Bruess put one hand a each shoulder and through him head first into the boards. Looked much more calculated than most cfb's
-
IMO Bruess hit on Lapointe was a slew foot, maybe not the intent to injure like his knee on knee and cfb the night before, but, after those, I refuse to give him the benefit of the doubt. Yes, Lapointe went into the boards off balance, that's what happens when your slew footed, you fall over backwards. You seldom see it done where the player goes into the boards, for that reason it was a very dangerous play by Bruess. Because of the long wait while Lapointe was taken off the ice. the Sioux coaches and players were given the opportunity to get their emotions under control. Winning the game was much more important than a Bruess beat down which most of us (and the Sioux) probably wanted to happen at the time. As a result of the Bruess' attempts to injure, after he scored the go ahead goal, the Sioux did not want to get beat on a goal by "that guy" (Hak's post game comment). Sweet that the two guys Bruess attempted to injure on Friday night (Genoway and Gregoire), together put the game away with the GWG. That was a much better response than a Bruess beat down (if he keeps this kind of play up, he'll get his from someone/somewhere down the road). For now, the Sioux can be happy they won the game, and kicked the purple cows down where they belong. Kudos to the Sioux for playing the game the way it was called. Jutting and the Mavs don't seem to be able to make that adjustment, to their detriment.

Exactly what it was.

You should also be able to find MSU/tOSU on FSND (663), that may be over, but will be followed by UNO/Mich on same channel. http://www.collegehockeylive.com/
