I'd agree with that, jloos. Who will keep the skippies straight here when they show up? RIP, TRIOUXPER

Neither the new coordinates, nor the new deal with WDAZ, have been announced yet. The best you can do is point at last year's satellite 91W. Do you have a motor, or fixed? What components? If fixed, you can aim it, make sure mast is plump, set dish elevation on bracket (adjust up or down until you find signal), then find a satellite, scan, if it's not the right one, rotate in the right direction, and rescan; once found, fine tune. If you don't at least have a simple squealer, you'll need a TV and maybe your receiver outside by your dish to find the proper elevation. If you have a motor, the process is slightly different. For those buying new systems, the new easy find system looks great for those doing their own installation. http://www.psbsatellite.com/ http://www.easysignalfinder.com/index.html

You're interfering with an rw rant

Guess that was a bit techie, and maybe inaccurate as well

Dish HD delivers in 1080i, and, occasionally a video on demand movie will download to the receiver, and, if you choose to rent the movie, and have a TV capable of 1080p, you can watch in blue ray quality. The dish software, however, checks out your TV when you try to rent the movie, to test if it's 1080p, and some TV's get misidentified as not supporting it, so you can't rent it (that includes my sony xbr). I'm really not sure if anything I get is in 720p, but, if it is, I can't tell the difference. I've posted before that, with your own KU band system, the SD first generation signal that is delivered by FSSN, is very close to HD quality on the big screen, much better than the cable FSSN version. And HG is right, the larger screens deliver much better with the best resolution, so 1080s are needed for that. Not sure you can get a 720 in a large screen. A smaller screen, like a 32", is just as good in 720. And of course, if you're doing blu-ray (which I still don't), you definitely want a 1080p.

You must be a better father than I To be fair, the Sony XBR series has superb color and 120hz motion flow works great; haven't been able to compare the new samsung's 240mhz motion, but twice the speed should be better. I do like the much improved energy usage of and LED backlit screen, and the total lack of heat that the TV gives off. The Sony LCD is certainly hotter, but cannot come close to a room heating plasma. You nearly have to turn on air conditioning in the winter when you sit in front of a plasma.

Don't miss the new Samsung LEDs at 240 hz, unbelievable, and you can feel absolutely no heat on your hand in front of the screen, as the LED backlighting use very little energy. Can't beat the color and picture, either, wish I had one. MIne is a 46" Sony Bravia xbr4

And there is the rest of the story.

I think it's higher than that, on all subjects he chooses to argue

Even better training for a Sioux dman that will be back this fall. One could only hope to get another Patrick at the blue line.

Another chance for JP to stone Gerbe this time around.

Last response a couple weeks ago from P Sweeney was that a deal was being worked on for FSSN and would be announced in a few weeks.

Correct, I'd forgotten that a couple regions had HD equipment. Unfortunately the frozen four did not, although I could be forgetting (especially since the Sioux were missing.

Sounds good, just keep him off the "Fats Fornier" dunkin donuts diet. And hope he doesn't have the attitude of either Arnason or Fornier.

Looks like you took the bait, DK. All of us like HD, you do not, you need to get over it. Unfortunately, when ESPN does the sport we love and puts it on ESPNU, they've yet to use an HD epuiment for the telecast, so even having ESPNU HD, I"ve yet to see an HD telecast on the station, and I'm force to watch in the rather crappy SD. Beats not having it at all, but not by much. BTW, DK, I can tell immediately that my HD station is broadcasting in SD, it's so obvious.

So, according to you, the NYR will allow him to avoid forechecking, backchecking, the front of the net, and any other area where physical contact might occur. Not much of a recipe for college, much less the NHL.
-
I'd agree with you, but those are some awfully strong accusations, no matter who from, for being totally fabricated.
-
Hope they've left some cap space for future signings of their youngsters, when their entry level contracts expire. Seems like a lot of years to tie up cap for one player. He also kind of disappeared in the championship round for Detroit, seemed odd since he went there to win a cup.

It wouldn't be the first time we've seen this sort of attitude coming out of MN players and their fans, even if it's only partially true.

Old hockey glove with small pvc pipe duct taped to the back or the fingers. One rocket at a time or the five at a time shotgun effect.

That would be the column; these kids also started a grass fire in a hay field next to their backyard. It hadn't been hayed yet, and the fire department had to put it out.

It will be nice to quit picking up the hundreds in my yard and on my roof from neighborhood kids

Thought possibly he played for the Notre Dame Hounds of the SJHL since Sherven, Patrick, and several other Sioux and other future college players played at Wilcox during that era. Tough to find rosters, however, from that far back. There's a void in info during the Hounds early 80's years, since they left the SJHL in 1976 and played AAA midget until 1987. There are, however, team photos up in the Wilcox barn during those years featuring many future Sioux and their AAA midget championships, as well as players that went on to play at other colleges, and the NHL (Curtis Joseph and Wendel Clark, for instance). I'd guess Eades may also know the answer to you question, since he was part of both Sioux championships during those years.

Four team cluster: UND, UMD, MN, WI - won't happen but I'd like to see it.

Without the bs carried in on the boots by Bison fans, the bar doesn't have quite the same flavor, apparently, nor the aroma that they love so much. If they'd get to wander through, or at least down wind, of the stockyards at Sioux City/Omaha, they'd feel right at home.
