west....old satellite was 89W...new is 93W
-
FEED is up and for once they labelled it scans in as FSSN-UND
-
set up a manual record. Thats how you get past that issue
-
obviosuly it hasnt been finished (or barely started) I know of finalized TV schedules right now -Sioux -Bucky -Goofers -Denver -Alaska Fairbanks These 3 are easy as its all home games -Mankato -St Clown -Bemidji
-
nah. Skew (twisting of LNB) affects signal quality. The main reason the frequecny may be off is the blind scan but like I say nothing to worry about mine has survived 4 winters already...this will be the 5th
-
each LNB has a little bit of float or drift. Although what worries me is each of those transponders are off by 6. Normally its 1 or 2 (so 11711 or 11709). You should be OK though. Like I say each LNB has some drift. The LNB on my setup seems to whack out when it gets really hot out and when I blind scan its off by 3 or 4. Winter is fine

Bucky released their TV schedule http://uwbadgers.com/sport_news/mhky/schedule/?sportid=119 Sioux games are both televised. Saturday is FSN North (now FSN Wisconsin) and Friday is on their local My station "My14" The FSN game should be on KU satellite...dont know about the My Network game
-
you might want to check the yellow pages for satellite installers. I would call around and see if they've done a KU Band install. I did a quick map lookup and found 2 in TRF...I dont know if they do installs but they deal with satellite D&J Radio & Service 681-1856 Elite Video & Sound 681-4424

bummer. It's really not that hard to set up. Just takes some patience best one on the net www.satelliteguys.us (I'm an admin there) direct link to the FTA area http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air-fta-discussion/
-
usually the first game they flip the switch on 1/2 hour before game time...I guess to make sure it works
-
the Satworks reads low even on the really strong signals 35cm? you mean 35" dish. If you have a dish at IA6 for the Sioux games and have a separate dish try G10 at 123W (30 degrees west). Lots of English channels on there and a couple network stations (My, ABC, Fox) Thanks for the kind words. Actually its just a hobby. Just love helping out people getting the Sioux games

well there is one more road game televised Friday Nov 30th against Denver will be on FSN RM (so if you have Dish or Direct you need the sports package) http://www.denverpioneers.com/ViewArticle....;ATCLID=1157931 2007-08 University of Denver Hockey Telecast Schedule on FSN All times listed are Mountain and subject to change *Sunday, November 4 at Minnesota, 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 vs. North Dakota, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at St. Cloud State, 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at St. Cloud State, 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, Denver Cup Championship Game, 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 vs. Wisconsin, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 vs. Wisconsin, 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at Air Force, 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 vs. Minnesota, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 vs. Minnesota, 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at North Dakota, 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at North Dakota, 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 vs. Alaska Anchorage, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 vs. Alaska Anchorage, 7 p.m. *Produced by FSN Northwest

yep. I tried all the satellites and nothing so much like last week Bison game they found a way to distribute it without satellite
-
what worries me is the SD press release just says Midco. I have a feeling the reason the Sioux are on KU is they have more than just Midco to send the feed for. There are little cable companies in MN & ND that get the feed that way. But Midco may have a way to get it to the different towns. I'm hoping I am totally wrong and that it is on KU Band
-
The issue with BTN & Commycast is Commycast wants it in a sports tier (like the Fox College Sports channels). BTN wants it in a basic package (like FSN North) in the Big 10 markets. Outside those 8 Big10 states its up to an agreement DirecTV has it in the basic pacakge Dish has it in the basic package Only cable companies are mainly small cable companies (usually run by Telco's) who go up against a conglomerate cable company (Comcast, Charter, Midco, etc)
-
it depends on who they are playing Last year (checking my list made) we had the following road games on free to air (30" or larger dish) -Both Wisco road games -The Dartmouth Tourney -Alaska road games (needed a 6 foot or larger dish) -a couple extra b-ball games (the games escape me right now) But its not just the extra Sioux games. If you have a motorized system you can see college games usually each weekend from other teams. Seen many other games
-
Dish WILL carry NHL CI this year and in HD Also they will have the NHL Network too. Heard it last Monday from Charlie himself on the Charlie Chat (for the uninformed Dish Network's CEO Charlie Ergen does a monthly chat where they talk about new channels and stuff. Its on Dish 101).
-
yes you will get the games. They are in the alternate channels 444-453. There is no set channel for them right now. Channel varies depending on how many games are using those channels
-
unknown....too early probably ESPNU mainly would reshow games...the only live games were usually east coast (huh imagine that) or Alaska (when Fairbanks played a east coast team) CSTV still has last years schedule up
-
if you're looking to reaim the dish there are a good 1/2 dozen transponders that are up there 24/7 on 93W http://www.satelliteguys.us/thelist/index....ge=93+Galaxy+26
-
some of the games use to be on WDAZ along with cable...WDAZ locally....cable/satellite for everyone else basically they are saying all games on FSSN this year again (cable/satellite)
-
found the broadcast schedule on the Midco site. interesting they are carrying the UMD away games when Duluth odesnt even have a TV partner yet (WDIO didnt renew) But otherwise its all home games and a few FB & BB games
-
lets see go to main site mens sports scroll to hockey click on schedule is it really that hard? But for you, I'll post the link http://fightingsioux.xosn.com/SportSelect....amp;SPSID=58682
-
Dont know where to put this but I guess as good a spot as any Big 10 Network is now available on Dish Channel 439 Part of At100 right now after 1st of the year it will go into the Top100+ package for people in the 8 big 10 states. The rest have to buy the multisports pack for 5.99 after the 1st of the year

thanks for the info The game is on the Cyclone TV Network. Last year when they played the "other" ND University team, that game was also on CTN but was on C-Band analog. The good news is there are 2 games before that also on CTN so we can see what pattern they show for uplink Hoping the FSSN picks up the feed. That would be awesome (by the way..the Sioux are in St Clown for the weekend so the FSSN could show the bb game)
