I scanned IA8 too early and didnt see it. So then I scanned a couple other sats and found a feed of "WDAY SNG" on AMC2 (the raw feed) Scanned IA8 later on the other box and found the commercial feed

I manually typed it in one box. The other (slower) box found it on a blind scan

HANG ON found the FSSN feed IA-8 (normal satellite) 11975 V 4880

you would need a motor or to manually move the dish 4 degrees east (if you made a mark on the mast of the dish it would move about 1/16" to get AMC2)

just a heads up....bouncey ball is on Sioux women at the elite 8 (the one on WDAZ) AMC2 (85 degrees west) 11824 V 6111 no commercials (the best feed ouot there)

correct. Free to air satellite AKA what Sensers and a lot of us that dont have cable or live outside the FSSN area use to see the Sioux

Highly unlikely they would be on tape delay. They will just pick up the feed up live from ESPN + (ESPN Syndication) and put it on the FSSN.

ESPN holds the rights to the games. Syndicated means they can farm it out to anyone who will pony up the money. Hence the name "ESPN Syndication" If you watch bouncey ball and in the score area it shows "ESPN +" thats ESPN syndicated. ESPN produces the game and just lets stations pay to pick up the game. Here in Mpls the Big 10 bouncey ball was on Channel 45 all the time. For the stations that pick it up, they don't have to spend all that money sending a production crew to the game and paying for an uplink. They pay ESPN a "rights fee" to show the game.

its not. Its a local cable access channel so they would be picking up the live feed (probably on C-Band)

yes they could. Since ESPN Regional holds the rights, the FSSN (WDAZ) could pay for the right to show the game if they wanted to. Now hypothetical situation time....if they do pick it up, that doesn't mean they'd show it outside of Grand Forks. Remember the Wisco games? They picked up the feed and only showed it in GF. They didnt beam it up via satellite. no problem. I'll be looking for the live feed. Hopefully its up there somewhere unscrambled

Normally it would sound easy. FSN bumps the Wild game to Channel 45 here in the Cities. But the HS BB Tourney is on 45 so they can't do that.

FSN (Fox Sports Net) doesn't have much of a pot to piss in when it comes to this. ESPN Regional (syndication) holds the rights to it and technically anybody could pick it up if they pay the right amount to ESPN. Heck WDAZ could pay ESPN syndication and show it on FSSN or even WDAZ. but if its tape delayed, we're all kinda screwed pro: they were on a backhaul (wild feed) con: it was C-band and analog

Altitude is carrying some games live. Looks like the Sioux arent one of them right now
