Every team in the NCHC has now played 6 league games.
UND is in 2nd place, 2 pts behind SCSU and 5 pts ahead of DU.More importantly, they stay at #1 in the PWR even with the OT loss. They were #6 entering the weekend, so a very nice bump up there.
Things will normalize once SCSU has to play the top teams in the NCHC.

Terrible line change. Maybe shouldn’t have celebrated like he won the cup after his goal. Somebody on the staff talk to him about that please.

That DU guy really embellished that. Flop fest out there for the home team.

Need to do a better job of clearing pucks in their own end. Almost all of Denver’s sustained ozone time has come off turnovers.

People thinking he will be suspended for that are ridiculous. Two guys going hard for a puck in the dying moments of a game. 2 min interference absolutely. Nothing more. I’m 100% sure I would say the same thing if the roles were reversed.

What a treat that was. Outstanding puck movement by Denver the first half of the game. Very quick and precise. The Buium brothers on the back end are very good. That goalie is a different story. Need to limit space tomorrow and motor like they did the second half of the game tonight. I too thought the stick raising by DU was ridiculous after goals and had a chuckle when the green men did it in response.

Nice job of the officials to insert themselves into the game. Had to kill the UND momentum somehow.

There’s a big drop off after UND and Denver in the NCHC this year and St. Cloud is taking advantage of it.

Good games from Berg, Johannes, Livanivage, and once again Strinden. I’d switch Strinden and albrecht. A line of Jamernik, James, and Strinden is more of a scoring threat.

Go look at Quinnipiac’s remaining opponents compared to who they have played so far. After this week they don’t play anybody inside of the top 15 the rest of the year. Only two opponents inside the top 20.

If often seems like they do get the bounce. I remember watching UMD play in 2018 when they won their second natty and they won each of their last 4 games by one goal. Keep it close get a bounce. Rinse and repeat.

Standard UMD game. Outskilled but clog things up to keep it close and hope for a bounce or two.

Steeves is a player but if he shits in the shooting room can’t say I’d want him on my team.

Huge win. Overcame terrible officiating. I was not impressed with BU last night at all but tonight was a different story. Hutson and Celebrini are the real deal. Their dmen are also exceptionally good at eluding shot blockers and getting pucks to the net. BU will live and die by those two guys.

The weak side wing coverage has been terrible in their own end this year. I don’t know how many times their weak side dman gets the puck and is able to walk all the way in and snipe one high on Persson.
