well 2 have to sit as we have 14 forwards with forney healthy so martens and radke maybe sit or watkins..im guessing there will be great battles in practice every week for sure...guess we will see.....malone may be a 3rd liner as well as frattin could be

nice, but they are not bringing in frattin to sit, he must have something in the bag, play him over radke, watkins or kozek if they are not performing and if he doesnt, then he will sit as well

just a thought here......lets say forney is not recovered so then you have martens as the odd man out for this example at forward. so im saying radke is on the 4th line at forward then, would rakde be better off going back to D and have genoway play forward?? just thinking as maybe having genoway as forward being more productive than radke at forward as radke has the D experience for sure to play there. just a thought, i like genoway at D but just thinking what the best scenerio would be both ways at forward and D

nothing yet, they didnt do one last year so not sure if they will this year. i believe the did pick up the swift black nikes and the ralph shop should be selling them closer to season

FIRST OFF, the question of this thread was never properly answered, When is 1 inch longer than 180 feet? i would say when you can move like you are floating in the ocean and have the stamina of lance armstrong

thats would be BAD.............he may be damaged if so....hes the wildcard here, if hes not 100% and cant contribute and cant play than we are looking at martens as the only forward sitting everynight if he is the one which he may not be, just using him as example........wit forney healthy we have 2 extra forwards......if hes not healthy i see maybe another forward coming in late here...

good, even know we average 5-6 goals vs him everytime we face him, his teams seem to get 1 more every time those rat bastards, now we can advance next year when we play them in the semis in the frozen 4

and then 2 or 3 freshman get in right away just like 05 when lee, jones, chorney and finley being thrown into the fire. they are doing just fine. blood will be here with a couple more.....

we lost 1 blueliner!! could have been 3.............1...........a good one at that but we are deep and talented on the blueline. only 1 freshman at D, and a good one in lapoint so we will see what happens there. remember i believe we started 4 d men a couple years back and did just fine and now most of these guys are seasoned in how to play this game. im not worried. we lost 1 good player, we move on. we have the best d amn in the nation in chorney or a tied for the best if GOLI returns to minny.......

the facilities at both are top notch for training but the ralph will catch any kids eye without a doubt. sometimes you dont have a chance with a kid due to many reasons but for those who you do, the ralph is a hell of a nice attraction!!

i dont call anything steals really, i know what you are saying overall as these kids are from that area and we dont have many kids from the cities but it goes both ways. also we have been landing a few more from the cities so thats great!! 2 top tier programs that battle for recruits, you can say the gophers stole ness from us as they havent had a player from roseau fro a long time i believe. lets see if i was a kid being recruited. gophers or sioux?? hmmmmmmmm, 1- this means im a damn good hockey player and i can do wat the hell i want 2- i grew up a gopher or sioux fan so therefore................ 3- either place i go i will be competing for a wcha title and a ncaa title 4- you get my point hell i cant stand the gophs at all but you cant land every kid you want as it goes both ways..........

i agree on the importance to the pairwise, lets play hockey til a team scores and award a point each on getting to OT and the team that wins get 2 points!

ties suck, just do........shootouts are not the answer, the NHL needed to do it for the fans sake to generate fans and so forth, college does not need to at all. lets just play til someone scores.......thats hockey!

http://www.uscho.com/news/id,14292/RulesCo...mFor200809.html 2 refs instead of 1 and a way to eliminate ties are a couple big issues i dont mind the 2 refs and i love the idea of no ties. it sucks ass leaving a game after a short 5 minute ot. maybe a shootout whcih i guess will be discussed heavily. i know old schoolers dont like shootout factoring into a all important wcha point and so forth so i get that for sure. my take - maybe do a 5 on 5 or 4 on 4 for 10 minutes, if a team doesnt score then a shootout, or for those who are not in favor for shootouts then lets just play until someone scores, hell thats the real way to settle the no tie issue. but give both teams a point for getting to OT then grant the winner the extra point to reward both teams for a good 3 periods and then the winner overall.
