  1. yeah he signed july 11th....make your own former gophers thread as who cares
  2. colorado hf draft review http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/9827 Brad Malone, C/LW -- Sioux Falls, USHL 4th Round, 105th Overall, 6'1, 207lbs Malone is a big power forward from New Brunswick. While playing with Sioux Falls in the USHL in 2006-07, Malone scored 14 goals on his way to 33 points with 134 penalty minutes in 57 games. Malone likes to use his size to bang bodies in the corner. Malone's 134 penalty minutes was second on the team and 13th in the USHL. Malone has shown good poise on the power play where he scored seven of his 14 goals. As Malone continues to grow, his physical presence should continue to increase, which could make him a valuable winger in the future.
  3. exactly, we are lucky to have these guys back but then after they leave we reload and make more runs to the frozen 4 lets get it!!
  4. not sure on hockey, florida gators in basketball, but they won it the year before so they wanted back to back so way different situation, we just need the 1 then you go from there
  5. lets win a damn title and the ralph will then become the new home of sioux hockey and then we wont have to ever talk about this ever again
  6. im sure it went both ways for sure. they moved radke because they could afford to with the great play that genoway displayed at D during his stints there.
  7. i dont think its because he sucked at all as he playd there for over 2 years. i think genoway filled the role they needed better so radke went to forward. i hope he can produce there for sure whatever line hes on!! not meaning many points as we know hes not a scorer but as in playing very very physical and flipping in a few assists here and there!
  8. i think a big part is genoways d style was maybe wat they were looking for the way he can fly up and take care of the puck and radke cant do that. hes a different player as we all know. therefore radke had to go somewhere, now lets hope he can take full advantage of forward this season as im sure it was a adjustment last year to do that after being a d man for his career.
  9. i see goren listed as 6'3 so hes close and genoway 6'1, maybe you are thinking of someone else goon
  10. exactly, and where the hell would he go, he got 1 offer in the states, its a no risk situation for UND, could be a diamond i the rough and he could be a spot fill in player, im sure he is estatic about coming to UND, hmmmm a university in canada or UND to play hockey, good choice my man
  11. PLAY TIL SOMEONE WINS, theres a frken concept, screw ties, screw shootouts in college, the points and pairwise mean way to much for that to happen. i would maybe give the winning team 2 points and losing OT team 1 point but then again that may cause some very crappy hockey with teams down the stretch trying only to get into OT, so after thinking for 1 minute................2 points to winner, 0 to loser and play til someone scores, they only play 2 games a week anyways...
  12. there wont be much sioux hoodie wearing my friend in sin city, just as hot as this hell hole i live in in december through february you can in the mornings and at night though for sure as its a bit nippily, and yes im am a az wussy as your blood thins right when you move here for all you haters. but that doesnt mean i cant take a little REAL winter when im back to see the sioux whoop the piss ass yellow rodents from the university of minnesota twin cites
  13. im guessing he is coming to UND as a walk on pretty damn happy considering the sioux are basically the only team to look at him other than maine a little. not a bad deal!
  14. not a bad point
  15. yeah i posted this 1 page back last night, looks like a solid group!! 1 d amn and 3 forwards istting each game if everyone is healthy. solid
  16. exactly, he is a low risk walk on player that every team needs but if they do suprise some people you have a good thing with another solid player to rootate in.
  17. its different at the new ralph, just how it is for now with a bigger building and more corpie, oh friken well, people will do what they want so just do your part and who cares about the others really, enjoy it no matter what as people in g forks are spoiled to have sioux hockey every weekend, what i wouldnt give to own my own plane and fly back every friday afternoon til sunday!! i will someday so until then i come back to see the sioux/gophs and its a hell of a time, i dont worry about others, i enjoy myself and my company around me, long live 32 oz beers at the ralph for only 6.00!!! GO SIOUX
  18. and many lucky bounces of a puck
  19. just go cheer as loud as you can and tell all others to screw off if they havea problem and cheer as well........simple solution, but yeah, lets keep this thread on track as this subject just sucks.. oshie 4 hobey and the C on his chest!!

  22. matt jones resigns with the coyotes, it looks like they are shopping 2-3 other d men so jones should get a full year this season to shine!! http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/transactions http://coyotes.nhl.com/team/app/?service=p...rticleid=334570
