we have the talant but we also have the unknown of who will step up and score and create goals. the kozeks, watkins, kaips and so forth really dont score much. its time for those first 3 to step up and play their game. we really need it! i think a couple freshman will have to step up and will step up as well. man im excited for sure the defense and goalie are the least of my concerns. we have the best d man in the country in chorney and a goalie who stepped up last year when it was his tuen after injuries! lets lock em down and hurt em!!

lou will be coaching with a month left anyways.....that gets old -
man can he talk, fun article, even gets into the reffing, very nice, open and honest, refreshing from 80% cookie cutter interviews these days!!

he is a interesting player, not recruited really at all and a late bloomer, he may sit his fair share of games to start or may suprise people, hes 22 years old i think so i hope hes ready to play!! we will see what happens as i would guess he would be a fill in or maybe he does outplay some others and jump on that 4th line. low risk really
-
yeah, that may be a stretch http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdispla...pid%5B%5D=97794

there is no way anyone can judge forney as he hasnt even been healthy at all and when he did play he for sure wasnt healthy. so basically if he is recovered it will be a freshman season for him, i hope we can see what he has

if toews was still here i would say we could have a dynamic scoring team that rivals past teams but no way we will without him, we have 2 big time scorers and then a bunch of players that havent proven anything yet with big scoring numbers really. players like kozek, vande, watkins and miller will be highly depended on to balance it out along with the freshman coming in, we will shut some teams down with our d core though. i say oshie and duncan have 50 + each with hobey for oshie and then a bunch of 15-25 point guys wich will be the key to denver...we need scoring depth and i believe we will have that, i posted the last few years scoring depth i another thread and it has been very good overall so hope we keep it up..

i understand its early, just thought maybe there had been some rankings to guess right now, thanks though

hf sabres draft review http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/9816 another mistake as we all know he is coming in 2008, not this fall Bradley Eidsness, G - 5th round, 139th overall 5'11, 190 pounds, (Okotoks, AJHL) In the year of the Tier II draftee, No. 2 overall Kyle Turris had lots of company. Bradley Eidsness was the 12th goalie selected and the first Tier II goalie to get picked in 2007. Going into the season, Eidsness had to compete for the starting goaltender position despite entering junior as the top goalie in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Eidsness started slowly with an .835 save percentage in his first three games but rebounded to earn the Okotoks Oilers' top goaltending job and finish with a 2.87 GAA and a save percentage of .907. Eidsness, a butterfly goalie with good rebound control, will join the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux in the fall.

i have stated i wouldnt fault TJ if he signed, which means im NOT WORRIED, just stating my opinion, i do believe TJ that hes coming back and i think many of us have read most of the TJ stories out there, hes a hell of a player and person!!
-
D1: Taylor Chorney - Robbie Bina D2: Joe Finley - Genoway D3: Zach Jones - LaPoint F1: Chris VandeVelde - TJ Oshie - Ryan Duncan F2: Evan Trupp - Forney- Matt Frattin F3: Rylan Kaip - kozek- Brad Malone F4: Darcy Zajac - (Radke or miller or davidson) - Matt Watkins (center, forward, forward) Ready in reserve: Jake Marto Miller Ryan Martens Brent Davidson

it would be a huge addition if TJ joined the blues so you cant blame them for wanting to sign him. they suck and he is a piece along with EJ to make them better, i have said snce day 1 i wouldnt be suprised if TJ signed and wouldnt fault him either, i still think hes coming back like most but nothing is ever 100% in life with anything........

no way he gets delayed, hes in for sure if he stays on colege route which looks good so far..
-
i believe he is a 08 for ohio state and playing another year in the bchl go to former players thread i believe as there was a article on bchl website regarding hunter and ohio st...

kozek especially, 7 goals frosh season, 5 goals last year, not good, i see 13 and 17 out of him this year, 30 points would be nice!!
-
who cares especially if they spread it around, but to answer your question i see two 30 goal scoreres in duncan and oshie, duncan with 50-60 points and oshie with 60 plus and a hobey maybe trupp and frattin have great freshman years, if kozek shows us what he really has maybe 15 from him but im sure not counting on that..i guess we will wait and see here are some numbers for you regarding 20 and 15 goal scorers the last 3 season we went to the frozen 4..... 2006/07......duncan 31 goals, toews 18 goals, oshie 17 goals http://www.uscho.com/stats/team-overall.ph...=m&team=und 2005/06......stafford (24), oshie(24), toews(22), zajac(18) , duncan (16) http://www.uscho.com/stats/team-overall.ph...AA&sort=PTS spread out as well 2004/05.......zajac (20), spirko (16) http://www.uscho.com/stats/team-overall.ph...=GAA&sort=G very spread out scoring!!

put that in your pipe and smoke it wooger

looks good! 1 extra defensemen and 3 extra fowards, really 2 extra D men as radke can fill in as well if need be. will be a nice battle for playing time for the last spots as im assuming martens will be sitting a lot. a lot will ave to do with forney and his health.

all the descriptions you mentioned is the reason nike made them that style...smaller fit for less pulling and grabbing, way lighter and they were not used in many games so they kept up very nicely
