I agree on bsu not bringing the wcha down but your comparison that bsu has made the ncaa tourney and msu and uaa hasnt doesnt hold weight. the cha is a very weak league as we all know. the only way a team gets in 99% of a time is the autobid they have. im guessing msu or uaa could have battled for that auto bid. lets hope thats the difference between the bigger school leagues overall compared to the cha ect........bsu wouldnt bring the league down 1 bit. bsu would be rocking with all those close rivals they will take in. i see both sides of this and just wush bsu could get in without screwing things up down the road with the wcha but if the wcha gets mixed up either way down the road then it doesnt matter if they let them in

ATTENTION GAME WORN SIOUX JERSEY OWNERS im toying with a new page on my site. this page will display other sioux fans game worn jerseys out there. you would have to email me 2 decent pictures of the front and the back of each jersey. then the year and player who wore it. i will display that info plus your name or ss name. whichever you prefer. just thought it would be cool to display many out there. if interested please email me. you can access my email on my website. ill give it a month or so to see how much interest i get in this and then decide to keep it for good. I have a example already up using the orwicks family sioux site to give a feel on how it will look. hope thats ok allen

anyone who believes in jinxes can jump off the sioux fan wagon 7 in a row, just watch and enjoy

and im fine with this as ive thought about it. just a personal thing with me ya know with bsu hockey. i grew up wanting to play there or UND really. as a kid in youth hockey its great to have that in your backyard. the national title thing is dead on, i will go put mad money down on 10 teams in vaegs and one of them will hit, hell i may be able to do it with 8 teams and still hit easily. i would love a perfect scenerio that bsu gets in to the wcha and there is never a big 10 conference. question to who that may know - do you think down the road they will push for a big 10 hockey anyways? i know this has been discussed over and over on different forums but do you think it will happen no matter what happens to other smaller schools out there? im not familiar on rules and contracts with conferences so just asking
-
agree that they should put a age limit on recruiting kids but thats a tough one to do because verbals can come anytime and that woulds be hard to regulate. he could end up in major juniors but also this is a good move to see him in the green and white. he will play 2 years i the ushl then und in 2010. mattson is also a 2010 so good start for that class at a early stage
-
there is a nice handful of teams that may never win a ncaa d-1 title. agree on that for sure. oh well though. guess we will see what happens with all of this and what the future holds. im good either way if bsu is in or not but i would be hurt if bsu didnt have a hockey program anymore if thats one of the options. i guess thats my bottom line, like it or not. many good points on both sides i think.
-
calling it now - we will be on a 7 game win streak heading into the ucci...........but first things first, one game at a time starting vs the landcows
-
lapoint has been banged up and kozek was a half and half i would say not 100% but hak got davidson in there. maybe a little wake up call. doesnt seem to hurt sometimes
-
agree, the best thing for now is that he is going ushl route so hope that keeps him swayed towards grand forks
-
well since you or i dont have a say in if they come or dont come to the wcha then oh well...nice rant you might want to check with many non die hard college hockey fans as there are many people out there that dont even know college hockey exists if you wana go that route. of course die hards know bsu exist but also do regular college hockey fans. you can say whatever my man and thats cool but i will defend bemidji til i die in order to keep beaver hockey as that only floods down to youth hockey and so forth in the long run. not a big town at all population wise but a hard working one for sure and i hope they can make this work for the bsu hockey team and the city

i think many schools wanted shmidt and i would have loved it if he came to UND to join clarke but we didnt get him. nice pick up with clarke
-
the feed on got here in az was abit delayed so i didnt catch the first period but they did show lucias glare. priceless
-
ask him if he can check the lost and found there. im missing a sioux hat but after 2nd thought, who knows what that touched there. they can keep it
-
its confirmed by a few sites. the coaches cant talk about any verbal recruits until they sign when that day comes in the future

ADD Garrett Clarke- 2010, (D) Russell Stover - heading to ushl - fargo to play for dean blais next year
-
gona play under deano as well http://westerncollegehockey.blogspot.com/ Clarke was born in 1992, and is originally comes from Canada. He spent last year at Shattuck-St. Mary's Prep School, before moving on to Russell Stover this year. He's a very smooth offensive defenseman, that is ranked as one of the top prospects in this year's QMJHL draft. In addition to committing to North Dakota for the 2010 season, Clarke also agreed to join the Fargo Force of the USHL next year, an expansion team that will be run by former North Dakota coach Dean Blais.
-
yeah and it sounded like hak wanted davidson in as well so i will say it is a half wake up call for kozek as well along with a nice chance for davidson. good win either way
-
the trend at home has been broken now its time for the road to be as well sioux sweep 5-2 4-0

sorry therre buddy, you dont know enough about bemidji states hockey history to being saying some of this stuff. come on. nice bulliten points though... they have had multiple wcha wins over the last 4-5 years when in division 1. no one knows who they are? are you serious man? bemidji is a great college town and the best thing in town is bsu hockey. you dont know, but thats cool. ive been to many frozen 4's wearing a bemidji state hat or buddies wearing a jersey and we get stopped over and over..just a mild example but a good one of they are well known in the hockey world. im not saying I want bsu in then a big 10 but its out of our control for whatever happens so a fun topic to see how people feel. bemidji state has a hell of a hockey history going back many years and since they have been division 1, they have upped their schedule by playing hockey east and many wcha teams over the years and getting wins as well.

tech has a hell of a histrory and a program overall. agree MM, i dont think we as fans have much say in if the wcha admits BSU and so forth for down the road or how this all plays out so whatever happens, happens MM.
