speaking of the NHL, ovechkin signed for 6 years, 54 million to re-up with the caps. didnt think he would stay there but thats a huge plus for washington as a franchise.

i look at the pairwise when thinking about the future and that shows whats up around the country, yes they are all bunched up in the wcha but the sioux also went to sconnie and did the same thing umtc did in grand forks, its a tough league as we all know. just look at your team and how they have played vs crappy oppenents sieve. please do so. im not saying the sioux are tearing it up either but there is a difference overall as you can see when looking at te pairwise... of course any fan will never count their team out unless you are donald and route for the seawolves but anyways, there is a lot of hockey to be played so we will see what happens and yes, i was in town for the gopher series and swa what everyone else saw....so you are saying since the gophers played well in grand forks then they will be there in the end? so that means RIT and AIR FORCE will be there as well if thats the way you look at things...interesting cocept actually but damn, that makes wayne state out of it, i really thought they had a shot this season before they fold but solie to the rescue

scanning the nominess for the contest is see............we ended up with 67 entrees rau have close to 60 votes i think.......lasch must have over 40 votes, oshie in mid 30's along with wheeler and trotter.......watkins, bina and trupp got 1 kaip with a few...meyers from umd got 1 as well............vande velde a few............duncan around 20 or so...barriball and gordon with a few each for minny.....nodl, dey and roe capped off the rest of the scsu votes.............ruegsegger, rahkshani and bozak rounded out the rest of the DU votes.......turris and street got a few each for sconnie........bruess, berge and hanson got a couple from msu.....sweatt, kilpatrick and vallapoulaos got a few here and there for CC............mckight, kemp and sharp maybe 1 or 2 each for umd......clark got 1 for uaa....roleau and shelast a couple each........and for defenses, lets just say pretty much every player 2 of these schools..........UND, CC or DU...........1 uw and mtu...scsu, msu, a few umd's thrown into the mix as well....... every team got a nomination! thats my scientific breakdown, GOOD LUCK

i have heard that some fans say that ownership didnt spend money but i think the wild are pretty close to the current salary cap. i think they need to change coaching staffs.. that style sucks and i dont think it will win the wild a stanley cup.

i think skills competition is a bit different than wcha game speed and action as im sure you realize that. not knocking forney for that but lets hope he can crack the lineup his junior and seniors seasons as ya never know what lies ahead, lets hope only good things for michael!

and i think a lot of that is due to surgeries he has had over the past couple years, really sucks for forney and i hope he sticks with it at UND.

pretty simple on forney in my eyes..........he has had mutiple surgeries ove the last 2 years. not everyone can come back right away from them and some do not ever regain full strength. it may be a 4 year process with forney. you cant fault a kid for getting injured and having to undergoe surgeries. just happens in sports. im sure he is very frusterated he cant crack the lineup but right now hak sees other players that would give the team a better chance at winning. has to be tough for forney but he hasnt given up at all. and like you state, its not personal as do you think forney would still be on the team if it was? nope.

he pulled a Okposo on SS he will be back, uscho wont let him go straight to the show so we still have a chance so PCM chooses not to post here right now. he still reads it, his recap is great so that will be the one trip to uscho i make a week. now thats a hard hitting college hockey talk mesage board

go ask hak, im sure he will let you know why he thinks miller is on the top line for now i could care less what the lines are on any night especially when we are getting wins so if it keeps up with miller on the line with osh and duncs then there is no reason to change at all.
