  3. when we lost to denver in the cc regional 3 years back the attendence sucked. all games. weak weak effort as there wasnt any promotions around the springs. the world arena is bigger than du arena but it wasnt that full at all and you would think it would have been with denver vs the sioux. keep winning and somehow get into that top 4 theres no way they would put denver in that regional as that would serve as almost home ice for both of those teams in a way. when scsu sneaks its way in just send them as a 3 or 4 seed
  4. REDLINE CLASS RANKINGS they must look at who may be draftd this coming year or something and not who is in juniors coming in plus cichy and toews ect.... oh well brads recruit stats
  5. im leaving in the morning til sunday night so if you submit your fantasy roster sometime tomorrow before 6pm gforks time and you dont see it on the roster page dont worry. will put those in sunday when i get back and grade the weekend. thanks

  7. ISS top 30 january iss january top 30 toews #27
  8. i go through sportsbook.com very reliable, quick payments ect.....
  9. i think its because we dont have a real hobey candidate at this point of the season and really these votes dont mean a thing when it cmes down to a hobey baker winner.
  10. suspend him as well. no need for a ref to grab a player at all unless hes breaking up a fight. no other reason
  11. exactly, the fan voting barley counts in the end, stuffing the ballot is for fans who think by stuffing them their player will win we dont have a player worthy as of right now, that could change but the ballot stuffing isnt gona make one of them a candidate at all.
  12. its either in the alaska sioux thread or the sioux season thread there but it looks like it hasnt been posted so maybe he didnt do one tonight. heres a guess how it went played tough 120 minutes last weekend...wasnt handed a thing and earned the 4 points..have to keep that momentum into series vs uaa......rylan settled something he had to settle....sioux fans were great, could hear them all game, great to have that type of support on the road and the players feed off it for sure....defense was very good. a couple breakdowns but nothing serious.............phil had another solid weekend overall......have to get ready for uaa as there isnt a easy game in the wcha......they are a tough and gritty team who tied wisconsin last week so take nothing for granted ever caller - obvious question that he/she already has a answer to but wants to hear it from hak for some reason maybe about davidson and how hes been in the lineup or if walski will get a start anytime soon.... ect........... TH brings up the refs and how crappy they are, hak doesnt bite everyones pretty healthy, miller lost some weight from being sick so he is questionable
  13. i always have picked up the sioux in their so called soso first half starts.............got them at 12-1 last year and the year before at 15-1 when they were struggling a bit. ballys i vegas always has ncaa hockey odds and a few other sportsbooks do as well but online you wont be able to bet until the frozen 4 usually, sometimes right when the ncaa tourney starts... i use sportsbook or bogdog - both are great and have never had any problems with offshore gambling online minny should be where sconnie is at at 18-1, i like the sioux at 5-1 and cc at 6-1 and du will drop more i think. i wouldnt touch miami at 5-2. no way. waste of money. im guessing most money will go down on michigan, cc, und and miami, maybe UNH as well at 10-1 is a good odds bet more for your money. mich state knows what it takes so 6-1 is decent............i know where my money will go and has gone..the 4th time is the charm right last year beofre i took off to st louis i put money down on 3 of the 4 teams to win it all in the frozen 4, of course i didnt take mich st i did take them in a 4 team parlay though to win and then over on goals which hit and the sioux and the over on goals and the sioux didnt win and that would have paid for my next 3 frozen trips lets just say
  14. well it seems like many schools do the beer song and the sioux do it the most but its fun as hell the sieve chant is great after we score but maybe if oshie scored the place yells oooooooooooooooooooshie, ooooooooooooooooooshie or biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiina, biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiina til the puck drops in the middle i loe the anaheim song or wild song when they score as it gets the whole crowd into it. i like that better than a chant really.... these 2 are great as the crowd rally gets loud wild goal song ducks - at the end you can hear it, i like this one
  15. per brad http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/ At today's weekly meeting with local media, Sioux coach Dave Hakstol said that Brad Miller is questionable for this weekend's series against Alaska-Anchorage. Hakstol said that the flu has left Miller, but he's still feeling the effects. Miller lost "a significant amount of weight," Hakstol said. "I don't think he's at a level physically to where he's at 100 percent. So we're taking it day by day. He's questionable right now as far as this weekend goes."
  16. no crap, anderson must have thought he was the players dad or something. what a chump. one day hes gona do that to the wrong player;)
  17. so sad, keep fighitng nicholas found this caption under the pic of nick in the sioux jersey Just like the UND Sioux (Bina), I'm a fighter on and off the ice. Thanks everyone for your support!
  18. ANOTHER WCHA OFFICIAL screws up, wow http://www.areavoices.com/rinkandrun/?blog=19672 Referee Todd Anderson had an unintentional run-in with Minnesota Duluth winger Michael Gergen early in last Friday's home game against Minnesota. Gergen was on an offensive rush and continued on behind and around the Minnesota net and......collided with a stationary Anderson at about the left circle after a whistle had been blown to stop play. Anderson didn't see it coming and was knocked down and then took a moment to talk to Gergen. Anderson grabbed Gergen by the jersey to continue the conversation. WCHA commissioner Bruce McLeod, who was at the game, said Anderson made an error in judgment and supervisor of officials Greg Shepherd called the referee about the incident. "He's been told in very clear terms that it's not acceptable for an official, in that instance, to grab a player,' McLeod said Tuesday. "That should not happen."
  19. what are you gona do? a usher the cops arent gona throw the wholw student section out of the game. its up to them to not say it but as soon as it starts its not stopping. ive heard it every sioux/gopher game ive been at
  20. yeah total bummer to see that happened to him. i think he was gona ask for a special leave to persue to pro hockey career from the air force so i hope this isnt career threatining for him. met him last year at the hobey. very cool guy.
  21. probably never
  22. SIOUX/UAA GAMENOTES
  23. theres a lot to the system but the easiest way to break down the pairwise for the ncaa tourney is the top 13 or so in the pairwise will be in the tourney then usually 1 team in for winning thier conference tourney in the cha , atlantic and the maybe the ecac but they get 2 in the end. but if there is a suprise conference tourney winner that will put a team in the 12-13 range in the pairwise out of the tourney bumping them out as the top conferences like wcha, hockey east, ccha will all have 3 plus teams each.
  24. and i said we would win our next 4 mark it down
  25. i said we would win out last 4 so wheres the jinx there jinx shminx dinx go sioux
