allegiant does a nice job for me at least as i can fly from phoenix to fargo very cheap compared to grand forks on a normal day. i see they are in grand forks now which is great!

just research that info and its a bit earl for exact pricing this far ahead of time. use orbitz or travelocity to get all that info. 5 hours or so from cities to g-forks. just ask ahead of time for decent seats on siouxsports and im sure someone will have some to help you out. theres a chance to get snowed in at anytime between november and march

i still think it should be vs a WCHA team but thats just me. i do agree with getting it over though on the other hand

per brad Force complete all-Sioux staff The Fargo Force coaching staff has been completed today with the hire of former Sioux defenseman Mark Pivetz, who was an alternate captain on the 1997 national championship team. The first-year head coach in Fargo is Steve Johnson and the assistant is his brother, Chad Johnson. Pivetz was an assistant under Steve Johnson in Lincoln from 2002-04. He then moved to Fargo and coach Fargo Shanley's prep program. Pivetz replaces former Sioux defenseman Jason Herter on the staff. The Force have a Sioux recruit on the roster in Colten St. Clair.

per brad Sabres re-sign Stafford Former UND forward Drew Stafford finally has a contract with the Buffalo Sabres and the winger can get to work at training camp. Stafford, who was a restricted free agent, signed a two-year deal reportedly worth $4 million. He'll make $1.5 million this season and $2.5 million next season. Both sides indicated that a deal was nearing and Stafford showed up to training camp this weekend and started working out even though a deal had not been finished. Stafford had 20 goals and 45 points last season -- his third as a pro. For more on the Stafford signing, read the story here.

im not a huge fan of these. just cant stand the green cuffs on the white.besides that the whites are decent imo but who the hell ok'd that green cuff?? awful idea but as someone said they may not be that noticeable with pads. ill wait to see them in full pads to give final judgement. hell this is the last year anyhow with the jerseys so not that worried about it. i think there will be a black maybe down the road. go sioux! just thinking a little about the jerseys they really went with the same size of letering and logos that they used on the black swifts. that is because these jerseys are smaller than normal jerseys as they are the reebok edge style the nhl uses. so they went with those dimensions for the 2 shown now as they are the same style as the nike swift. another big difference is they arent dazzle material which really pops out to a human eye. those are the 2 big differences besides the striping changes

yeah moving him is their only choice right now im guessing or they wouldnt even try it. they are deep at D joe at forward is what they feel gives joe the best chance to crack their club at some point in the next 2-3 years. it could backfire as well like any prospect but they have to try being how high they drafted joe as a 1st rounder.

who knows. hak will do what he wants but ill guess and say they are very cool as i cant see hak letting them get out of control as the sioux have had the most popular jerseys out there since the new logo came in 2001. i cant wait to see them and buy all 3!!

and under blais we had no current recruits and now 2 under johnson but that was a timing thing as well with it being fargos 1st season. either way would have been great for the sioux.

agree on #2 but a very high % of all verbals are honored in college hockey. its not that common for players to change their minds that often as you know. just pointing that out but yes it sint a signed letter. great we ended up with colten! big time player from my neck of the woods out in the left coast

big joe hurt finley Finley Suffers Injury Joe Finley, the former first-round draft pick I wrote about in today's paper, appears to have suffered some sort of a injury on the opening day of rookie camp. Not sure about the nature or severity of the injury, but he has left the ice and is not expected to return today. I hope to have an update on Finley's status later.
