thanks jim! How can UND end the weekend at #4 A bonus section
-
vermonts 2 wins vs BC, 1 win vs DENVER and DULUTH must be carrying them nicely as they are 2-2-3 in their last 7 games. if they dont win the series this weekend im guessing they drop out and not make the tourney. they dont have much room for error
-
Thanks Dave! get a few PP's here and there the sioux will put up some crooked numbers this weekend!
-
i am the same way. always want to catch pre game!! i loved the one back when brandt and parise player they uses eminem 8 mile, lose yourself and yes it was trendy but it did the job and got the place jumpin

very true for the most part if there arent any huge upsets. the most it changes is seedings of the top 12 teams and then the bubble teams at 13-14-15. they have to hope no bad team wins their conference tourney which would kock out bubble teams. if bemidji gets upset that will screw someone badly with bemidji being a lock already. in the past it was only the cha tourney winner who got in before bsu became much beter on the national scale

5-1 since hextall has came back i think. the goals per game have gone way up. knight has came into his own late whihc has helped this team. sioux sweep 5-1 4-2

per brad Jones traded to Toronto Former UND defenseman Matt Jones has been traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Jones and a fourth-round pick and a seventh-round pick in 2010 went from Phoenix to Toronto in exchange for forward Lee Stempniak. Jones has missed this entire season with a concussion and it is unclear if and when he will return again.

per brad On the men's side, Dave Hakstol talked about the Olympics (see a later blog post on that), the Evan Trupp-Brad Malone-Matt Frattin line (see Thursday's story) and the need for the team to close the regular season strong against Michigan Tech. UND is checking out some new line combinations this week during practice and Hakstol said that the Trupp-Malone-Frattin line might be the only one still together come Friday night. Malone came to the rink wearing a pair of zubaz today, a Christmas gift from Jake Marto's girlfriend. Malone said it might be the best Christmas gift ever. "You wouldn't believe the number of compliments I get on campus when I wear them," Malone said. "I have so many random people come up to me and say 'killer zubaz, man.' I love them." They may be making a little bit of a revival with the team. Ben Blood says he's definitely ordering a pair. "They're awesome," he said. Blood also was the subject of this week's Q&A. It's a pretty good interview. I asked him if he knows that he scares 11,000 people half to death when he carries the puck through his own crease. Read his response on Friday. The weekly Chay Genoway update is that he is working out on his own, but has not re-joined team workouts or practice or anything like that. He still has a way to go. As said previously here, his return may depend on how far UND can go this season. But Genoway's intention is to play again this season.
