The Sioux are heading to Omaha for their first ever WCHA series vs the Mavericks after a very nice weekend in Madison. Let's hope that sweep gets this team rolling! wasnt sure where to put this but i think the sioux can be glad clarke chose not to attend und. from the sounds he got kicked off the team then released a statement that he left the team. seems like a drama queen with all of this then him being at the junior draft when he was verbaled to und to play for his hoe teamor something like that. wonder what his future holds as once a very high prosepct clarke

The Sioux are coming off a split to UMD. The Sioux played very well Friday and got a solid victory behind Dell. They were just a little less crisp Saturday losing on a nice play in OT to the dogs. The Badgers made the Gophers look like a jv squad on Friday doing whatever they wanted in a blowout. They then had to battle back for a 3-3 tie Saturday. GO SIOUX!! The Sioux will be without two starting defenseman due to illness in Forbort and Macwilliam. Gleason and Simpson are said to be in. Malone is out with his 1 game suspension and Rowney is still banged up from last weekend. Time for others to step up versus the Dogz. Will be interesting to see the line combos. Go Sioux!!

agree but when mario got a game for shadow boxing marvin last season then throw out all rules i gues with the heads of this circus league. i sure hope he isnt and if he is dont look for change that should have happpened years ago! as for rowney im guessing thats the play but im not positive

exactly, when mario gets a game for shadow boxing how the hell can you expect malone not to be suspended. im sure the ruling will come today as the sioux have to know for their sake vs duluth. the wcha is a joke when it comes to these things, we all know this so i dont mean to beat a dead horse but its a joke! suspension or not i always love the duluth series but if malone is out someone else needs to step up and that goes down the line. lets smack them around a bit and contain that top line. fontaine-connolly-connolly are damn talented and tough to stop. play very physical and get that friday win! go sioux duluth is very good but they havent played a team as talented up and down like north dakota yet so this should be a hell of a hockey series at the ralph

i saw the hit live on tv and it happened so fast then seeing the replay made you go , oh wow. im not going to get into the legal vs non legal debate as there are so many angles that can lead to but i sure hope martin gets better and recovers 100%!! hockey sometimes can be a eye opening sport with the speed and collisions on a nightly basis. we have seen bina and genoway lose out on seasons which is tough like puck swami says when you are so invested emotionally into your team, i believe its magnified with college sports as everyone has "their" team and sometimes to a fault ride the ups and downs with that team. we witness hits in every game and unfortunate incidents like this just suck to see happen to any athlete. i saw brad right after it happened on tv and he seemed very shaken up over seeing martin down. of course du players are going to chirp at him like any pissed off teammates would do but he didnt seem to be trying to fight the du team. he was responding to maini i believe if i saw it right....anyways besides the point, class act on martin to call brad! what a guy! hope he sees the ice again at some point. all the best in his recovery come on gwoz

The Sioux will be fine. I am disapointed on one thing last Saturday and that's not being able to score with almost double the shots.their goalie didn't have to be great by any means.a split seems in the works or this weekend but who knows what will happen.the wcha is a wild league and if Malone is suspended then someone else needs to step up!! I'll say the Sioux get 3 points this weekend versus a very good Duluth team but we will see if they are better than that this weekend! Go Sioux!! Kristo and Nelson break out!
