this will be a great overall test 3 weeks into the season for the sioux. will simpson play 1 night again like they have been doing rolling 7 d men and 11 forwards? ill say he plays one game for sure and keeps getting better out there with experience. he was out for a late offensive zone faceoof at bsu so thats a good sign for dillon. ill say both goalies play a game like we have seen so far. kristo breaks out this weekend on the score sheet! maybe a close 4-2 win (eng) friday and 5-3 win saturday for the green and white

1st INCH power rankings #2 North Dakota

awesome play overalll. 90% of the time that puck gets dumped in as they were changing up but he grabbed it, saw the bsu defender turned and knew he could blow right by him. he beats the guy and releases that wrister and the bsu goalie had zero chance. frattin is on a different level right now and as been since last season in the 2nd half. cant wait for this test vs a very good maine squad!!!

It was a very nice sweep for #2 Fighting Sioux this last weekend in Bemidji. Maine will be waiting for the (3-0-1) Fighting Sioux after skating to a 4-4 tie @ Michigan State Thursday and a 3-2 loss Friday. These will be very big games on the national scale along with the pairwise rankings come March. - SIOUX Hockey Home Page NCAA Division I Overall Record: 3-0-1 (.875) Conference Record, WCHA: 2-0-0, 4 points Home: 0-0-0 / Away: 2-0-1 / Neutral: 1-0-0 - Black Bears Hockey Home Page NCAA Division I Overall Record: 1-1-2 (.500) Conference Record, Hockey East: 1-0-0, 2 points Home: 1-0-1 / Away: 0-1-1 / Neutral: 0-0-0

very true and I watched him last night and he played a awesome game overall.I think he breaks out at Maine but besides the points he is playing solid.sweep Maine!!
-
that would be amazing! add cammaratta as well
-
i think a big factor in this series will be the fact that bemidji state hasnt played a game yet this year. their exh game got canceled and besides the green and white scrimmage i cant imagine they have played anywhere near game speed like the sioux have in 3 games. that being said i would call for a sioux sweep here anyhow but its just a side note coming into the series. i like that kristo-nelson-cichy line as well as ive seen that mentioned. rodwell from the sounds saturday night will have a nice role on this team and forbort is already making a impact early! will dell get a start or will it just be a every 3rd weekend thing to give eids a night off? i guess we shall see...

st clair 2 assists in 3-1 win gothberg gets win stopping 25 of 26 shots schmaltz 1a in loss

The Sioux come off a 5-5 tie with lapses and a very convincing win over top 10 Alaska where the score didnt tell the story. The Sioux hit hit and hit playing very solid hockey overall. Bemidji State has not played yet this season and will be opening the BRECC this weekend vs the Sioux so Bemidji will be buzzing. This also marks BSU's first ever WCHA conference game and overall game. I think the Beavers will come out strong Friday but the Sioux take both games. Will be there and look forward to seeing the arena and some good hockey!! Fighting Sioux Hockey home page Beavers Hockey home page
