  1. a few times ive seen him go end to end i ask myself is he the fastest on the team? i know kristo can skate along with genoway but pure speed rodwell seems to have a extra gear that i had no idea he had
  2. this year i agree! few years ago i would say any medal but this team is solid again and at least they should play for the gold. that being said, anything can happen with this type of format. i hope nelson, forbort, grimaldi and bjugstad make the team!!
  3. Just a few mid season polls while we have a couple of weeks until the Sioux are back on the ice.. you can vote multiple for team mvp as i voted for frats and dell I also wanted to add a 4th one but they limit it to 3 so ill do it here Most underrated player of first half of the season? any choice will work but i am curious to who everyone thinks brad malone is my answer, not that hes not noticed but he does everything at this level very good and is a plain pain in the a#$ to play against. add his recent scoring touch and you have a hell of a complete player. runner up - danny kristo, gates have to open for danny and hope the sioux and him can find the way to do that. go sioux and happy holidays to all!!
  4. pics from the above blog nelson vs rpi grimaldi vs rpi forbort vs rpi
  5. the sioux tested miller and miller gave it right back. he and grimaldi are going to be great college hockey players for und!
  6. i heard it was in some barn vs a so-so college hockey program somewhere near canada or something like that
  7. usa vs rpi shootout grimaldi makes 2nd goal for usa on video. this video only shows the goals and not misses and i think grimaldi went twice lets hope nelsons 2a game keeps him around for a bit. ive read that he could be the 3rd or 4th line center or may not make it. forbort seems to be a lock. i wonder if that last center spot will be between he and the gophs bjustad or will both wcha guys make the squad? go usa!! back to back golds?? ..... been following tsn's wjt canada coverage and goaltending seems to be a high concern for the canucks this year
  8. morin will join team usa from his ahl team chicago. with he, leddy, dmigo, palmerie, is this out of the norm? i cant remember having many ahl guys but maybe i just never noticed that. heck leddy and morin have played with the blackhawks already this season so hope they can make a big impact!!
  9. sounds about right, that will be the 2nd card after the wcha title then the other three can follow for your flush
  10. agree 100% with hg. also it should be the same way when flipping the situation in regards to is past troubles with voters. the award is for 2010/2011 hockey season and so far matt is a hobey hattrick guy, if he keeps it up he may be the 3rd ever sioux player to win the hobey. hell in the last year with the sioux crest why not make a stamp on the record books with a hobey, wcha title, final 5 title and #8 to cap it all off close by in st paul! great story!!!

  17. The 1st place Fighting Sioux are on a very nice run heading into the holiday break. The US U18 team comes into Grand Forks for a EXH game Saturday night. Team USA features two future Sioux recruits in Rocco Grimaldi and JT Miller. The 5'6 Grimaldi has been mentioned to be a first round draft pick in 2011 along with Miller being a possible second rounder. Come to think about it Grimaldi may be gone for this game along with Forbort and Nelson for the team usa wjt camp. I am sure someone on here can clarify this. Thanks, GO SIOUX!!
