Not sure what your problem is,

    7 to 10 is a LITTLE troubling.

82 game streak??? What does this do to them besides give less bragging rights to fans?

I posted a pic of my dog to respond to the pic of a dog right before that!

Now why don't you drum up some smart ass comment and drop a ....... witty "Carry on" so we can all chuckle at your great come back!

Again....Every time they lose one game your world ends! Hopefully that undefeated season comes someday so you can be satisfied! Wonder what Miami is thinking in their position? Bet they are playing to make the tournament, how do the two teams compare as far as pairwise?

I don't know what it is but when I see statistics like these that end up being mentioned by journalists time and time again, it drives me up a damn wall. No, I'm not calling you a journalist, but other than bragging rights I have a hard time tapping into their true significance. Great, streaks get run up, and if it helps the stat, seldom do we see the mention of it outside of Jayson's Gems at the games. When we lose and it's something that "significant," it only cuts deeper and that's the last thing fans, much less the team, need(s).

Not to beat a dead horse, but we need a turnaround tonight. Every aspect of the game. More focus, less cockiness, better overall effort. One of the most difficult games I've ever been to. On the bright side, that Boeser one-timer got me real fired up. Happy to see him back; great to see his sacrifice panning out like it has.

    Wonder what this means?

....this is just the beginning .... NoDak buckle up https://t.co/JyizOrAETp

Embracing a new tradition, no matter long NoDak's been on his radar and he being on ours. Good for him. Along with many I'll always see us as the Sioux first and the ripple effect may have little influence on Sioux lifers but I'm happy to see future athletes take a step forward in regards to the nickname.

Maybe Jost wasn't out there because he left for Colorado. Didn't a certain poster on here with inside ties say he wasn't coming back form the WJC? I was actually surprised to see that he returned. I can only assume that as the score got out of hand he remembered that he wasn't supposed to come back, so he packed up and headed out to catch up with the Avs.

Or was it Boeser? If so, same principle applies with Vancouver. They probably both left.

If you're attempting to troll, you, my friend, are doing a darn good job.

  4. Don't know about you guys, but I personally have had more fun watching Shane's development these last couple years than I did watching Rocco trying to be flashy and highlight-reel his in the latter part of his UND career. That doesn't take away from RG's talent at all- he's an awesome hockey player but Gers playing a clean, quality game and producing as much as he has this year and the end of last season is a real treat.

Before the game I wrote down the numbers of their big line so I could keep track. They are no doubt good and skilled, but they were not the "best line in the country" as they seemed to be billed. The Hobey committee should watch a replay of this game before they give #21 the prize. Maybe consider Pogo. I kept noticing their number 9 more than the numbers 21, 15 and 27 of whom I thought Foo was their best guy! I think if you had taken Jost and Boeser (both healthy) with Foo instead of his normal line mates and they played against us yesterday, we would have had a loss or a closer game. Take nothing away from Pogo, who I think is UND's best player, he always does what he is asked and never fails to excel.

Gonna agree with your comments about Spencer Foo. He deserves a lot more credit.

    Oh...well then this series doesn't mean much:D

Don't wanna be too serious, but honestly every game means everything during the second half. Can't get caught slippin' now. especially by a team lesser in the pairwise.

You yourself don't want PAC12 teams.  The travel across four time zones will create tremendous friction.  The only league with that kind of travel is the WCHA, which is full if friction.  Are you going to deny that too?

And you, yourself, seem to be utterly convinced that a major conference realignment is in the works, when there's no apparent reason (based on all the facts presented within this thread) to realistically believe one is actually coming. Again, NCHC member institutions were delivered the expectation to stay committed to the conference, and moreover their own respective hockey programs, when granted membership initially. Jumping ship this quick would be a slap in the face to the conference, especially with so many positives that have come of the NCHC since its inception. Success is measured by more than what's reflected in the win and loss column, and I'd say all of our teams have found a great benefit in being a part of the NCHC. Some schools might have greater costs, sure, but it doesn't seem to be enough to say adios.

    Hellraisers, I tell ya.

The SEC has been a power for years but Ga Tech and Tulane left it. If there had been money in it then, they wouldn't have left. There isn't any monetary comparison now with the NCHC and SEC.  That what President's have to think about.

The NCHC is probably most concerned about Miami and W Mich leaving which would leave the league at six teams.  That's why the exit fee is so high.  Once the league get to 10, losing 2 teams is not.a big deal.

Why do we have any reason to believe WMU and Miami want out right now?

I was browsing amazon and saw these https://www.amazon.com/Dakota-Fighting-Jersey-University-Jerseys/dp/B01FTUEWL8/ref=pd_sim_200_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=7M74MTTP6Z8740VXYAAX.

$40 in white, black and green.  This is probably where all the suspect jerseys seen at the Ralph are coming from.

Aliexpress has been a hotbed for UND students that still want to get their hands on Sioux jerseys for cheap. All sorts of discrepancies with patches and you know it's a fake when you see it, especially in the white and black SIOUX lettering. Up until this year they were easy to find but now you actually have to dig for them on the website.

For other schools in the PAC12 to add hockey Arizona State has to be successful. I'm not saying that will keep Colorado and Arizona from going D1, I think that it would keep the other PAC12 schools from joining.

I expect at some point the NCHC's foot print to be bigger, both east and west.

Couldn't agree more here. It's been a while since I've visited this thread so I'm not sure what has and hasn't been mentioned as of recent, but when we look at conference numbers, the NCHC has the second smallest membership among all conferences in NCAA Div1 Men's hockey, in front of only the B1G. We're only in year 4 and look how well we're doing recruiting-wise, financially and moreover the conference's impact on the college hockey landscape in general! It's astonishing, and I can only imagine a greater influence what more will come of the future. Growth at some point is inevitable, but Fenton has kept a strong spine about building and maintaining a solid hockey conference.

Any interest in defenseman Jesse Bjugstad from Stillwater?

Could be a tough pull to Nodak seeing that his dad and cousin both played at the U of M. Personally I'd love to see him here; Stillwater is my alma mater and I know besides Hayden Shaw we haven't pulled a lot of guys up from the northeast suburbs of the cities in the last few years. Before Shawsy it was the Connelly brothers out of White Bear and that was 15 years ago.
