Judging by the shape that Massen was in last year, he probably hasn't seen a bicycle in quite awhile. As for Moreland, I wish him the best because he is doing what he wants to do. Ballard does not play a lick of defense...kind of like Travis Roche. And unfortunately, we know how far Roche has made it in the NHL so far. At least Roche wasn't a dirty player though.

Ballard is as overrated as Leopold was underrated in college. My favorite Ballard memory is when Bochenski made him lose his jockstrap (which was probably inside out to begin with) on the one on one in Mpls last year.

I want Matt Moreland to play hockey for the Sioux. However, I just don't see how he is anywhere near being ready now. Although if he doesn't want to play juniors, then the Sioux are smart getting him now and putting up with some growing pains.

I heard a rumor that the Eagles cancelled their concert here because REA wanted them to make a donation to the Fighting Sioux Club before getting in the building. While negotiations were heating up there was talk of $50,000 in up front money. Unfortunately, REA thought that meant the Eagles were giving them $50,000 instead of the other way around.

Just curious, what happens to people like myself who sit in 105 if the students get moved there? The real solution for students is to make a stand now (no pun intended). This is a slippery slope. If the students start giving in and compromising, they will all be gone. My question is this, everyone blames Kupchella, but how much power does he have when it comes to REA. I thought REA is kind of their own separate entity. In my opinion, the powers that be would like to replace student ticket holders with regular season ticket holders. Think about it, $20+ per seat brings in more revenue than $5 a seat. I know I sound pessimistic but ever since the new REA was built, the greed has made me sick. I don't like the name Marriucci West but when it comes to ticket and concession prices it is quite accurate.
