Really happy for Erick. Great kid. Wants to play basketball at the next level but football coaches showing much more interest in him.

Great kid that looks the part… but this one is a head scratcher if you have watched him play.

I guess GF is keeping with the governors ask to build up and not out because of the cost of infrastructure

seems like there is a lot of room to expand around the alerus , don’t know what they will do with that farmstead that is directly south of the Alerus

The proposed indoor turf/courts facility will be built to the south of the alerus centers parking lot

  3. I suspect they won’t fill the last spot.  It’s pretty late to recruit a legitimate player and I can’t believe there are to many left still looking for a home.  I think they ride the season with 15 or 14 if Tyree isn’t eligible.

Saw ndsu got its first commit for the 2024 class. There has to be more than just the Sem offer out there for this class. Maybe they just have gotten posted in other threads?

I am not sure they are recruiting all that hard for the 2024 class right now.  They already have 4 freshman this year which I assume they will all red shirt.

Right now, there are 24 games that are confirmed (some without dates) on the schedule.  It could be 26 if the BSC-Summit Challenge still happens.

    Where is the schedule ?

I’m not sure the best thread to put this in so I’m just going to put it here…. There’s two high schoolers in Fargo that this coaching staff needs to be all over this year and next. Do whatever it takes to convince Mason Klabo (2025) and Jeremiah Sem (2024) to come north.

I’m a bit surprised Sem hasn’t drawn more interest after the state championship run (I know it’s just North Dakota but it was still impressive) and then some of the monster dunks he’s had lately.

Sem while talented has some off court issues/concerns.  That’s the only thing holding him back as he can play.
Klabo is not staying around here.  Spoke to his sister a while back, she said he aiming for power 5 school

I like Kraft. Local kid hard worker. Sneaky good!  Would take it happily. Would love an athletic 6’9 (5)  to protect the rim though!

I agree a true PG that can shoot lights out. Give him a year or two to add a few pounds.

I'm not sure how likely it would be that Eli King would actually come to UND. He was a 4 star recruit out of high school with offers and interest from plenty of P6 schools like: Iowa, Marquette, Stanford, Minnesota. I find it hard to believe that all those schools and others would give up on a 4 star recruit after one year. Who knows though!!

UND is not getting Eli King, sorry not a chance. The NIL agreements have changed the entire recruiting landscape now.  Any decent higher end recruit is shopping NIL agreements and UND will never be able to compete at that level.

Here is who is on scholarship

Trent, T, Mathews, Omot, Eaglestaff, Brooks, Doppler, Erikson, Bothun*

*Need to wait for official work on his status as a scholarship or PWO but.. lets assume for this exercise he has one.

So that is 9 players (6 current, 3 incoming) on scholarship.

Victor isn't coming over, he signed a pro deal over in England.

Two players who were honored on Senior Day and are awaiting their decision on using their final year: Danielson and Norman.

So if the current roster holds as is, UND could have as little as 2 scholarships available or as many as 5**.

**If Danielson and Norman don't come back and Bothun is a PWO, that's 5.

Danielson is back, Norman is gone

He's head and shoulders better than Doppler

Not sure what to think of Doppler, he seemed to have peaked last year.  He looked slow and unimpressive this year in the few games I saw.  Certainly didn’t perform well in the state tournament.
