I have heard that Lamoreaux was actually a walk on. Im sure the coaches had talked to him., so maybe hes not a true walk on...but he isnt on scholarship...is he? Hakstol should have given him a crack last night...htat job was up for grabs more than ever..

3.6 over 3 years would convince most any college kid, im sure. Hate to see him leave, but im glad to see no animosity towards the decision. I hear that hes playing tuesday? this is just hearsay from a teammate of his.

As much as everyone would like to handpick a good recruiting class from North Dakota..i think it is unrealistic that you can take your pick from these local grand forks kids..and think that they are indeed better than the top prospects from minnesota that are considering UND. I dont mean to fluster the locals around here..but i mean..to pull one or two kids out of grand forks taht actually has the potential to play for UND would be generous. Moreland and McIntyre are real good hockey players, i am not denying that. But im really not thinking they have the ablility to 1. make the jump and 2. out play top recruits from minnesota. TJ Oshie will be the next player to come to the sioux from high school. if not THE next..he will be the one from next years recruiting class.

Cosettas is the best pizza when you are in teh metro area. Tom Reids is a great place to go thouhg... Is anyone going down to the state hockey tournament? i know its off hte subject..but it relates..

im glad someone had the balls to admit they are eating crow. and the note on watching tv..thats awesome..i have heard ppl who are crazy about that. some guy in wisconsin said he would take all the blame for the badgers losing a football game because he didnt watch the game in his basement wiht his red light on. hah.... Well..NOW is when teh wins really start to count.

as much as i dislike NDSU..i gotta say..how fun would it be if we all sat here in agreement about our recruiting class...you guys are dumb to sit here and bicker about stats in school...and HAD someone gone to a bigger school.and what not... do you guys think..from either school..that your respective starters for your teams would be taht much better if they played for a top D1 team?? of course not! they did not have the ability to go play for these teams..and so they would see no playing time... my 3 cents

the reason that loss seems, and is unacceptable is because to lots of sioux fans it is a visible decline....we beat CC...come out the next night and cant muster out more than one goal?? we managed to get the tie, but obviously didnt perform like teh previous night......then we go to Wisconsin..and LOSE to them!? blais better be kickin @ss and takin names..cuz they need to get it into gear...THIS is where playing good hockey counts most...sure being #1 through the season is a defenite advantage..as a confidence booster..but when seedings, and final tournaments approach..it counts most to play the best hockey

the breathing techniques were Excellent!..haha..i understand what you mean, and i know ..twin cities teams have been doing it since they have had hockey programs. it seems so much worse because within a 30 mile radius up north..you will find..maybe 2 or 3 high schools..at most..where as in the twin cities..you couild find well over 20 to chose from...so switching seems to be the norm..i dont like the idea of recruiting ONE bit..but i guess i chose to be a little more accepting with warroad..seeing how they have such a rich hockey heritage..and arent a rich high school in the suburbs..

Every School has its share of obnoxious fans, as do we. i sure would not want to go to a school that is labeled as being classless, but UND doesnt have a bad reputation what so ever. I think a great thing about our mascot is that nobody can really make fun of it..i mean the gophers come to town..and we show clips of caddyshack..and gophers gettin hit and stuff, but you can bet your @ss that when the sioux played 2 weekends ago that at the mariucci they werent showing graphics of someone shooting squanto.. I wonder if Kupchella knows about hte little knows clause of "Double Secret Probation"..hhahaha

Are you guys really all that bent out of shape with Warroad?? Firstly, let me say..i AM NOT from Warroad. Dont look at Oshie's size and weight to determine his skills..IF you have not seen him play..the kids a junior in high school, and was a stud on the championship team as a sophomore. Sioux would be lucky to sign him on... he is from washington, and is directly related to Henry Boucha..for those of you who know who he is. i wouldnt cite recrutement as the sole..or even Main reason TJ went to play there. and before you criticize Warroad, why dont you jump on the players who willingly jump ship and go play for them...?

Of course unless we know people personally close to him...there cannot be any speculation that he wont play...he won last weekend. has anyone noticed if on teh regular rotation if jordan plays one particular day..or vice versa.? just wonderin in blais had them playin specific nights of a series.
