I do think we are getting a runoff though (Nodaks vs Roughriders). I think Berry and most of the hockey team coming out to support Nodaks will give that a boost, and just anecdotally I have heard enough support for the other three that I think it will be tough to get 50% for anything.

if all that were true then sure. i am sure it's not, or else i know the wrong people that go/went there. and what they have at their bookstore is pretty immaterial. that stuff could be the most popular for a whole host of reasons that have nothing to do with the nickname or lack of nickname. or it could be that people hate the nickname but don't necessarily want warriors back. that's what camp i would be in if we became the sundogs, for example.

define hanging around. I haven't heard anyone refer to them as the Warriors ever, including people I know who went there. There might be a pocket of people who want the name back but it's not a campus wide thing. Similarly, Miami has moved on, St. John's has moved on. Heck Syracuse has moved on and their name changed like 10 years ago

I didn't vote for nodaks either but it is miles better than being one of almost 50 teams with something to do with Hawks
