Any of you posters on this site ever meet Brian, his wife or his kids? They are a very nice family. This team and this coaching staff won a well-deserved conference regular season title. Q's family sat in the row in front of us during the PSU game on Saturday, parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters were at the game. The whole day was a treat. Congrats Coach Jones!

I really like the type of student athletes our athletic programs recruit at UND. Lots of local kids on our teams. I am glad we won on Saturday night. Was getting tired of the negative rants on here about specific players that shouldn't be playing. We need all the players on this team especially during this recent stint of the injury bug.

I enjoyed the Hennessy interview with Pat "the rat" Micheletti on Saturday night. He slammed Lucia for letting Gersich get away from the Gophers. "If he were the gophers coach, Gersich would be playing for UM".

All streaks come to an end. Long unbeaten streak at the Ralph came to an end, so will this current streak of losing at the Ralph. I believe the boys will start a good streak this weekend!

Boys control their own destiny. Remaining games with SC, WM, UNO and Miami are all teams in position for home ice for 1st round NCHC. Let's see if we can put some of these games as a "W".

Brock gets off his game when he is complaining to the refs. Hennessy called it on the radio coverage last night. Took a bad penalty and had no basis to argue the call. I have a feeling Brock will have a better game tonight. What an effort by Gornall last night. This year's version of Coltyn Sanderson?

Guys like Wilkie and Gardner have a huge opportunity to step up with Jost and Ausmus out of the line up!

My wife got a picture of our nephew with Jost yesterday at the Hockey academy in the lower level of the Ralph. He was not wearing a boot so my guess he will be back for the home series vs. St. Cloud.

Good part: Get back in same league as Bison, Jacks and Yotes. Will miss: Playing Griz, Bobcats (and Weber in MBB). Will not miss: playing rest of Big Sky teams.

Remember 2011 team, we crushed UMD 5-0 at the opening of the Amsoil arena and had the more talented team. UMD road their top line and won Natty #1. The most talented team doesn't always win it all (exception was last year's team). I am not going to bail on this team. Actually, I'm looking for a couple more tickets for the regional in Fargo if anyone jumping off the wagon wants to sell at a discount!!!
