Sure seems to me they've "truly arrived."
Bowling Green, Lake State and Maine did at other points in college hockey history too.

They recently did it with Dev McCabe and Jake Hale
Wow, McCabe is gonna feel like he's wasting his time in class at Lindenwood after going to SPA.

Maybe Duluth has truly arrived and can now offer players early then yank the offer if they don't develop as expected. We've been doing it for as long as anyone else. I admittedly don't pay any attention to their recruiting but can't imagine they've done it much if ever.

Cooper Pierson to Denver. High USHL pick out of SSM.

He's also a high WHL pick for Winnipeg. Maybe he pulls a Bethune.

Johnny Walker's brother.
Have to think Powers wanted him at ASU
Surprised it didn't happen with him being a local too. Good to blaze his own trail though.

Livanavage is a good get. Hoping to hear we got Cade Littler too.

Murphy Stratton committed to UND despite playing playing 45 games in the WHL. He was led to believe the penalty would only be a year and 7 games but it turned out longer so he changed course.
Swankler didn’t play hockey in 20-21 season so I’m guessing that counts as time served? Not sure iit’s a huge change yet? In Swankler’s case, the NCAA must’ve determined the amount of time he’s sat out was enough to be eligible to play in 21-22 season.
It'll be interesting to hear the rationale. I assumed it's NIL related but it could be due to not skating last year.

Whole new ballgame for college/MJ rivalry. MJ players are compensated, and the rights to their likeness are granted to their team is probably at the root of their argument.

Nate Benoit gets picked by the Wild in round 6, 182 overall.
Bizarro world where MN drafts our players and Ottawa does not.

Are they hard to get single game ones or what?
Assuming a marquee game in an arena's first year could be. They've only announced season ticket info

A little geeked for the season. NOT COUNTING Nashville, where’s everybody going this year. Post home base and where you’re going.
Iowa Sioux fans here with family in Denver so normally go for DU but this year we’re going to Colorado Springs and going to the CC series in the new arena. Can’t wait.
What's your plan for getting tickets to the CC games? Likely gonna be at a premium on the secondary market. If I lived in Springs I'd get season tickets and pay for them by scalping the DU and UND games.

Defenseman Sam Rinzel out of Chaska has to be on our radar. Selected to the U17 tournament team and a high USHL pick. Anyone know anything else about him?

I think he’s worth a shot at UND. Elite leadership skills.
If he wants to play pro (likely overseas)/coach high level, he should come home. If not, he should take the keys to the kingdom out east.

At least two prospective recruits on the Blue roster

Fair enough, I didn't consider admissions, just whether or not the program could explain why they brought him aboard (to whip his arse into shape).

A person on hfboards posted in prospect thread for Mitchell Miller that he’s in the NCAA transfer portal.
If true, I wonder if there’s any realistic chance any school will give an offer. If a school does, I hope their PR department does a better job than UND. Which shouldn’t be that hard. Just have to be proactive.
While his decisions were awful and he clearly wasn't remorseful until it all came crashing down, he has likely learned his lesson. Army would be a good destination for him; punks get the Private Pyle treatment at service academies.

Why don’t the nonchampions club members join the club? It may nit be a gobc but at least it’s a club
snd your only hurting the school by not joining them!!
*hurting the school's athletic department
If I donated to UND (as many in my family have), it would be for academics.

Pretty sure he dropped a bit to the 3rd round. Wonder how draft position affected his decision making process.
