Brad is an expert at framing things in ways that are not obviously disingenuous. WHL players can only come from certain states and providences. Fantilli, Pinto, and numerous other recent USHL draftees would have played in the O if they'd played MJ. The calculus changed drastically, past results shouldn't be used to forecast.

Maybe not a popular opinion here but the locations of WHL teams are generally more desirable places to spend hockey season than most USHL teams' locale.

So... what CHL players do we want? Landon Dupont comes to mind.

Lots of future conference opponents announced recently too. Good to see Bucky back on the calendar. Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce should talk to Auggie about playing us at Sanford Center rather than Midco Arena, at least for the Saturday game. 10k seats rather than 3k.

Was hoping the NCHC bid in Seattle would be accepted. It's been a while since I've been to either, but both DC and Chicago's arenas are in not great neighborhoods.

Graduating: Kunz Wilkie Jamernik Schmaltz Berg TJ Possible early: James Unlikely early: OMac Strinden Livanavage Perron (And whoever isn't getting ice time) With the portal and (potentially) CHL, it's not hard to turn around a recruiting class. Not to put anyone down, but this list feels more quantity than quality. We've never seen Wilkie or TJ in action, hopefully we miss them next fall.

If we're still in the top 10 after that, we've earned it. Who other than Wodon voted Cornell #1? Clearly a range in opinions on how good they'll be.
